Oh folks it’s really giving war flashbacks from all my previous fandom days. So I have a few things to say:

Acknowledging that that was blatant queerbaiting is correct and should be addressed‼️

Telling the ACTORS they should die/kts or cussing them out/saying some fucked up stuff in their comments section is weird fucking behavior. You don’t know them, you don’t know how they feel about the ship, you don’t know if they defended it or didn’t. And frankly the answers they gave in every interview were fairly vague. Reading into the answers because we have Buddie lenses on doesn’t change that. We do know that one writer purposely has fucked up buddie in the past and that Tim is power happy with the new spin off and renewal.

Even jlh most recent post people are complaining about plot points that have zero to do with maddie.

Like by all means fuck up the 911onabc account so they get the message about all the shit that was done poorly this whole season:

-disjointed, rushed, and missing continuity from MC plot lines

-PR queerbaiting/shipbaiting

-Bobby’s death as a last minute choice causing personal growth plots to be neglected

It really did feel like there was zero communication between writers which lead to every MC plot feeling half-assed and messy.

It’s really sad that once again Kenneth Choi’s phenomenal acting was overshadowed by focusing on a ship. Aisha Hinds deserves and apology for the way they treat Hen, like she fully could be captain and a good mother it’s giving misogyny that they’ll only let her have one. The episode felt like a midseason finale not a Finale and yet somehow still felt like it closed out any remaining plot points from all of season 8 and I would go so far as to say closed off anything lingering from Fox being the network.
