Question

In your opinion, does kissing count as sexual attraction or romantic? Im new to the whole ace community due to the fact I didn’t know my sexuality until a few months back. In my encounters with ace blogs and posts, kissing is grouped with either group depending on the blog. Which do you think would be the correct category to place it in and why? Thank you! -a confused ace

//////// Kissing can be all sorts of things. There’s sexual kissing and romantic kissing and sensual kissing and platonic kissing. It really depends on the people involved and even for them it can be wildly different. You could kiss someone because you like the feeling and that other person kisses you because for them it’s romantic. Communication is key as with all things. if your kiss only romantically and you know the person you kiss would not have a problem for that to become sexual (but you do) you need to communicate that. Kissing is one of these things that can really mean anything.
