A lot of slave AUs start with the premise of one character buying the other and slowly coming to realize that Slavery Is Bad; this one starts out with Stiles as a cop who's a secret abolitionist coming by a werewolf slave and working out a plan to get him to freedom... but it's not certain at all, by the end, that freedom is what Derek wants.
