I really want to yap about this a bit.

When I sent it over to my friends a lot of them called Near a little bit unsettling, which made me very happy since that was kinda the vibe I was going for.

He’s supposed to embody this kind of innocent and pure facade that seems to have something crawling underneath. In a way he resembles the dolls he holds so dear.

Drawing canon characters is more fun than ocs bc you always have to draw your ocs perfectly so they're likeable and attractive & ppl care abt tjem or else. Canon characters ppl already like so you can just draw them sloppy doodles
