It's perfectly fine to discuss the ways that animal agriculture allows zoonotic diseases to flourish, and that our culture of consuming animals is part of what led to this virus coming into our society.
But please stop blaming people (and especially Chinese people) for this virus. Please stop yelling at nonvegans for an action that they aren't even responsible for. Stop acting all smug and "this is all YOUR fault"-esc. Carnism is deeply ingrained into our society and you just so happened to be lucky enough to have something that took off the blinders. Don't act like you never thought like them or like they're just being willfully ignorant. We've all been socialized into thinking eating animals is okay and that isn't something that goes away overnight. It doesn't make it okay, but recognize that "taking off the blinders" is a privilege, in a weird sort of way.
Arguing with strangers on the internet in a nonproductive way (being overly hostile and accusatory) helps nobody. Stop it.
