Thinking about Danny Phantom this morning and all the ways Jazz protected Danny from their parents especially after learning about his ghost powers. Like asking if their ghost hunting equipment would hurt ghosts and such.

But she was protective of him before she knew the secret too. And in the first episode when she was reading about child psychology she even offered to drive Danny to school which confused her parents into thinking that she was a ghost cause she never did that before.

So like did Jazz spent the time learning psychology and untangling the mess that their parents ghost obsession has hurt her in the past and realized that while no one was there for Danny then she had to be? Was this something she decided to do after the accident?

Like she saw him get hurt from their parents equipment and was like “well i guess I’ll just parentify myself since no one else here is gonna protect my little brother.”

Like I just think Jazz is awesome and I didn’t give her enough credit as a kid but the older I get the more I realize that she was a really good big sister. Like Danny thought that she was annoying that she acted like an adult but I bet she felt like she didn’t have a choice especially after Danny got into that lab accident. Cause did their parents take him to the hospital? Probably not.
