A man ends up in some kind of situation where he is stuck working with his ex girlfriend. Now his ex girlfriend has to have doing a lot, because she's now some kind of chosen one (or has some other protagonist-bs thing goingon). But, more relevant to him, she's also the center of one of the most convoluted love drama, like you need a diagram to keep all the interconnected love triangles straight, and given that he is her ex, he is now in danger of being mistaken as a love rivals and sucked into the diagram... he needs to untangle this love diagram fast. He's no match maker or couples therapist but someone needs to intervene.

I think we as a community have forgotten that Shen Yuan is a shipper. He got so excited to see Luo Binghe interact with (some of) his wives, and I think it should come up more post canon

If it's a public work, then quite simply? The creator does not own or have a right to police the fandom. And that's something they're going to have to learn to accept whether they like it or not. They revoked that right when they made their work public. The only thing that would make you a bad person is if you showed the creators the ships. Leave them alone, but also... they need to leave the fandom alone lol. ❤️🙃
