a solid argument for watching the star wars movies in chronological order over release order is that the emotional arc of the viewer is way funnier
emotions post-star wars movies:
1: ok that one had some weird stuff but people say it was the worst one so whatever
2: that cgi was rough. otherwise better
3: why do people dog on the prequels that was pretty good
4, 5, 6: i get why people dog on the prequels now that was one of the best movies i’ve ever seen
7: not sure about the direction we’re going right now but i’m holding out hope
8: we’re so back. that was great. i can’t wait to see how this series ends i’m so pumped
