Guarding the Camp. 2016. My OC Zephyra. Mostly an exercise in seeing what I could do with Manga Studio beyond what I’d been doing with manga screen tones.

That which is real. Originally made in 2016, then upgraded to a digital version in 2017. The original was a way for me to process what those I’d come out to had said about being trans. The digital version was in response to cynical views about dreamers, and the claim that they’re out of touch with reality or abusing the system. I dedicate this piece to all who carry dreams in their hearts and say, “Today’s dreams are tomorrows reality, why should we bend to the whims of but a moment?”

Artemis Takei Style. Oct 2015. Drawing my OC Artemis in the style of manga artist Hiroyuki Takei, creator of Shaman King. Drawn in part out of frustration at not having drawn anything since I started that semester of college.

La Valentía Mk.II . Jan 2013, A redraw of a piece I did in high school. We were assigned in Spanish class to make a piece of art to talk about. As we were learning about surrealism in art class, and some of us were using abstract concepts as prompts, I created mk.I as a representation of courage. Later, while living in California, I had need of a reminder to have courage. So I remade it using the supplies I had at the time.

The Enemy is the World. August 2012. A request from rachet-halo on dA of their OC Aqua. The title is a play on Mitsuhide Akechi’s famous “The enemy is at Honnoji” line.

I’m a trans woman and working toward a genital reassignment. To help save up, my commissions are open.I’ll be posting my portfolio over the next several days as samples, and I’m also working on better samples of what I’m offering commission wise. Pricing is as follows:

OC Character Designs from written descriptions $10 1 char. Penciled, inked, and pencil colored. $15 1 char. Full Digital Single Character w/ Background Pencils-$14 Inked-$19 Tones-$25 Digital-$30 Comics/Manga Base prices include up to three major characters. Black and White only. $15/pg. Inked $17.50/pg. Tones Additional characters for both manga and illustrations for $4.50 ea. I’m also doing 3x5 Inked characters for $5. Please, nothing too nsfw.
