Dear (no) Western "leftists" who don't believe the Ukrainians, justify Russia in any way or say "not everything is so simple"
1) Firstly, you aren't "leftists" at all, but opportunists, accomplices of the fascists. Yes, in Ukraine there are big problems with right-wing groups and their sphere of influence. But you know what? The problem with the popularity of right-wing ideologies exists throughout Eastern Europe. And do you know which country with fascist forces has the biggest problems? Ukrainian right-wing and right-wing politics, closely associated with the oligarchy, were more of a threat to democracy at home. But Russian fascism has grown into imperialism, which set itself the goal of "expanding the living space" to foreign territory, with the genocide of civilians.
2) Secondly, you're also Western-centrists, because you think that NATO is the only imperialist, and all problems in the world are considered from an American point of view. I personally have no doubts about NATO war crimes, but I still risk being killed by a missile from a Russian aircraft or drone.
3) Third, if you think the Russian government is being "demonized" or "misunderstood" in the West, then you don't fucking understand Russian politics. The West for years - even after 2014 - sponsored the Russian regime and sold weapons to it. Even incidents such as the poisoning of Navalny couldn't stop the West. To be on the left side is to see the consolidation of political elites and capital, and not to come out as shit because of the sympathy of the Western press towards Ukraine.
4) Fourthly, your "but they didn't write so much about Yemen / Syria / Sudan" - absolutely useless. With your moralizing tweets, you aren't helping the children and adults of these countries in any way, but you're additionally making worse for the Ukrainians, who are still in very bad situation. Btw, which country fought on the side of Assad and used chemical weapons?
5) Fifthly, you're schismatics. Despite the fact that the world needs a powerful left movement more than ever, you fight with the Ukrainian leftists, Russian and Belarusian leftists who oppose the war, even with your American and European colleagues you can't get along. Despite the fact that the goal of the leftists is to build an international movement, where class interests are higher than national ones.
