Just wanted to say that I feel so honored that you found my animation worthy of your liking. I was very eager to finish it in the process making due to feeling unmotivated and thinking that it wasn’t good enough. I struggled a lot with certain aspects regarding my style, as I wasn’t satisfied with it and just wanting it to be perfect. But seeing so much people (at least too much for me, lol) loving it made me feel so happy!! I can’t truly express how much it means to me.

If you hate a character for being a bad parent, but then like a mass murdererer who commits genocide and want them to get a redemption arc even though the character itself has no interest in improving, you're a hypocrite and have double standards.

If you think a character committing murder, terrorism, human experimentations, manipulation, whatever other crime, can be excused or justified with a sad backstory, emotional moments and some trauma, but the bad parent is Evil Forever with no chance of improving, your opinion is null and void to me.

I don't wanna hear "but bad parents are more relatable/common" because genocide, murder and terrorism affect countless people in real life, so just because you've never experienced it PERSONALLY (and I hope you never do) does not mean those things are any less relatable.

Your personal bias should not blur objectivity.
