omfg i have a crazy work story for y'all

so we have a new hire who i was helping train a bit today as it's only her 3rd shift. it was just me and her closing and so we got to chit-chatting about our interests and somehow got on the topic of anime.

we were going back and forth on "have you seen x anime?" "you MUST watch x anime!" etc.

so at one point i asked "have you seen yuri on ice?" and she tells me she hasn't even HEARD of it. which shocked me bc she's around my age, but she also seems to be a *little* more casual than me, so perhaps it just flew by her radar, i thought.

i explain to her though it's a MUST watch and that it's "very gay (pos)."

tell me why this girl then looks me in the eyes, without missing a beat asks:

"have you seen mignon?"

Any writers interested in brainstorming?

I have a handful of OCs that I have some ideas for, but I'm not very skilled at building a narrative. Of course any idea that isn't my own would be properly credited! I just want to put my babies into use lol

For some details of what I have in mind: a vaguely dieselpunk setting with an mc who starts off wanted on the run before running into more characters to kick off the story. Characters can be fantastical (such as having animal characteristics) or just regular humans. Romance may be involved, but never the primary focus.
