Astarion's "trust me, I was not happy about it" is so funny to me. Like we know he didn't think it was a big deal that he found Tav/Durge hot. Like he mentions it was obvious, so I can imagine he didn't think it was weird when he kept finding himself staring. He's a man of excellent taste: of course he'd like to enjoy a good view. He only realized he was fucked when he started to find them charming.

Like they would do something that made him smile without realizing he was doing it. Or he'd chuckle about something they'd said earlier when they weren't even around and every time he realized he was doing it he just got more and more pissed at himself. Like absolutely not. I am not doing this.

Then one night they're in the same tent (they were probably supposed to be having sex but got distracted and started talking) and Tav/Durge just dozed off and Astarion realizes he likes that they did. He likes that they trust him and for the first time in two hundred years he feels better with someone sleeping next to him.

Guarantee he went out the next morning to scream in the woods about it

none of these belong to ai. these are all what human writers have been writing since day one, way before ai was invented. ai was trained to mimic how human writers write — so em dash, not x not y but z and short sentence stacking would never have been used by ai at all if ai hadn’t learned and mimicked them from human writers.

no, you are not “fighting against ai” by accusing every work that has em dash, not x not y but z or short sentence stacking in it as ai-generated, you are helping ai harm the writing community by engaging in witch hunt and scaring human writers away from creating/sharing their works for fear of being wrongly accused of using ai.

speculations, accusations and ai witch hunt harm the writing community as much as ai does, if not more.
