Do something with your life that would make a 1950s straight white man angry
Iâm already a lesbian who canât cook what more do you want
âAs fuckâ has become a universal unit of measurement
I saw this and thought of @fleamontpotter.
OP HOW CAN YOU NOT ADD THE BEST PART OF THIS TWEET THREAD
i really love our generationâs joke trend of like, very calm but incredibly inflated hyperbole. like nobody says âoh sheâs prettyâ anymore we say âi would willingly let her murder meâ and everyone is just like âlol sameâ
i think âsameâ is also great and âme,â i love when somebody reblogs a picture of like, a lizard, and just says âmeâ and we all know exactly what they mean. the current online Humor Discourse is remarkable because we trade exclusively in metaphors and implications and nobody ever, ever says anything outright and yet EVERYBODY understands each other perfectly
#ppl are gonna write their dissertations on this shit (x)

This reminds me of the time when I was on vacation with my family and we were hiking, and after using a rest stop, the conversation turned to the grossness of outhouses and port-a-potties, and I said that if I ever got splashback from a port-a-potty, âmy soul would depart my body.â My parents found that hilarious, and my dad commented that my generation can be so clever with words bc he would only think to say something like âIt would be disgustingâ which doesnât convey the sentiment nearly as well as âmy soul would depart my body.â
Adjacent but relevant is Tia Baheriâs âYour Ability to Can Even: A Defense of Internet Linguisticsâ
I find this so intriguing because it opens up so many possibilities for future writers to connect with their readers.
Does that mean weâre literally âDarmok and Jaladâ-ing language? We speak in stories and references and memes, never saying whatâs actually going on, just making reference to other things.
Yes.
Isnât it beautiful.Â
My roomba is scared of thunderstorms
I was sitting at my desk just a few minutes ago, drawing, and a really loud crack of thunder went offâno power surges or anything, just thunderâand my roomba fled from its dock and started spinning in circles
I currently now have an active roomba sitting quietly on my lap
Humans will pack bond with anything.Â
I had a teenage girl come into my tea shop with her mother the other night. She purposely grabbed a teamaker in the most crunched-up looking box on the shelf (got banged around in shipment) and carried it protectively over to the counter. âIf somethingâs in a damaged box I have to get it because Iâm afraid no one else will love it,â she laughed nervously.
Not only will humans pack bond with anything, the empathy level of adolescent girls in particular likely has puppy-saving, world hunger-solving, war-ending powers.
I once saw a really bumpy lime at the grocery store, just a real ugly fruit. Later that night my boyfriend & I were driving home from rehearsal at like 11:30pm & passed the grocery store & I stared crying & he said âis it that lime? Do you want to go back and get it?â And I nodded and pulled the car around and bought the lime.
Thats a good boyfriend and also a mood
Promise me (youâll never leave my side)

To Lisa, softestnaesheim.tumblr.com
The thing about growing up is that when youâre 16, you feel like the world is your oyster and that you can say no wrong, do no wrong. When youâre 18, some of those things still linger, but the sudden responsibility of being an actual adult creeps up on you. But itâs still fine, youâre 18, youâre invincible. Then you turn 20 and youâre expected to suddenly know all of these things, even though you havenât even figured out who you are or what you want to do with the rest of your life. Then, out of the blue, youâre a lost 26-year old. You have no excuses anymore, the days of youth are gone and there is no one to lean on but yourself. All of your friends have everything figured out and theyâre doing this whole adulting thing with ease. And this is where Dan found himself freaking out because there were so many things he was supposed to have done by now. People his age were squeezing out babies left and right whilst he barely knew how to grocery shop. It took only a small thing for his thoughts to spiral down, deeper and deeper. This time it had been a red sock left in with their white clothing. Some time later, this is where Phil found him, sitting in a pile of pink towels and underwear. He quietly sat down next to Dan, their shoulders barely touching.
âDan, whatâs wrong?â, he asked âI can actually see the cogs turning in thereâ he continued with a sad chuckle, poking Dan on the forehead.
He nudged Dan with his knee, but to no avail. He was lost in his own mind, this beautiful mind of his that from time to time caused him such turmoil. Phil decided, from years of experience, that it was no use in trying to pry it out of him, so he put his lanky arms around Danâs shoulders and pulled him against his chest. Dan practically melted against Philâs body, hands hanging limp by his sides. Phil kissed Danâs temple, almost in an attempt to lure the demons out of his brain. Dan sighed heavily into Philâs shoulder, the warm breath making Phil shiver. After some time he felt Danâs hand sneak up and wrap around his waist, his fingers carefully gripping the back of his sweater. And that was the moment the tears came. Quietly at first, slowly working up into a crescendo with heavy droplets soaking through the fabric of Philâs shirt onto his pale shoulder. Neither of them spoke, the only sound in the room being Philâs hand stroking patterns up and down Danâs back, the occasional frantic intake of breath from Dan and the low whirring coming from the radiator.
Phil had no idea how long they had sat in the same spot on the floor, Dan clinging onto him as his life depended on it. The only thing Phil knew at that moment, and at every other moment throughout their past and present life together, was that he wanted to cut out this sadness Dan had inside of him and bear it for him, if only for a little while. This boy who had turned into a man before his very eyes was the single most important thing in Philâs life. To live he needed water, food, air and Dan. Sometimes he even thought that the water and food and air was unnecessary, that he could live of this love he had for Dan alone. It felt like it could quench his thirst, fill his stomach and inflate his lungs. Times like these, when his most precious thing was hurting, it was like a thousand knifes stabbed him all at once. He would rather drown than have Dan hurting this way. Phil felt so powerless, because this was out of his control. When Dan was grumpy, he could tell him jokes until he was happy again. When he was sleepy Phil could tuck him in. When he loved Phil, Phil could love him back. Dan always said that Philâs presence was enough, that he sat with him, for however long it took to take some of the sadness away.
In the beginning it seemed like Dan was drowning, having kept stuff to himself his whole life. Phil was the one who cast out the lifebuoy for Dan to hold on to. These days Dan rarely needed it, he had swam to shore himself, but sometimes the mud slipped out from underneath his feet and he fell into the water again. Most of the time he could get out himself, but sometimes, at times like these, he needed Phil to keep him afloat. And even after all these years, Phil was still happy to do it. He would go to the ends of the earth for Dan, would walk through the fires of hell to get to him. Wherever he was, whatever he was doing, it was only Dan, his constant in life. Dan, who's smile was as warm as the sun, happiness radiating from his skin. Dan, who teased and provoked him in every waking moment. Dan, who hugged him like he was made of pure gold. Dan, who looked at him like he was the only thing that mattered in the world.
The sobs coming from the lump in Philâs arms were more infrequent now, and Phil carefully peeled his arms away, pushing Dan out a bit so he could look at him. He took his face in his hands and wiped away the tears with his thumbs. Dan flashed him a small smile. His eyes were red and puffy and his cheeks stained with salt. Even like this, all snotty and swollen, Dan was the most beautiful person Phil had ever seen. His chest ached with the love he had for this human being.
âI love you,â Dan said in a small voice. âIâm sorry for getting snot all over your jumperâ, he laughed silently, still smiling ever so slightly.
âWell yes, Iâm going to have to charge you for the dry-cleaning of thisâ, Phil said, trying to fake annoyance but failing.
âI thought it was âfor better or for worseâ, Phil!â Dan exclaimed, putting a hand to his chest in a dramatic gesture.
Phil couldnât any longer contain the grin that had been threatening to burst out for the past minute.
âBut Dan, we arenât married yet, remember? So I can actually do what I wantâ Phil answered, making his voice as authorial as it could be when smiling so big it hurt.
Dan snorted, putting his head back onto Philâs shoulder. Phil put his hand in Danâs hair, feeling the soft curls under his fingers. The thing he said next made Dan poke him in the side, followed by a snicker and a soft kiss to the patch of skin where neck meets shoulder.
âI love you too, even though you snot on my clothes and make me have to wear pink boxersâ.

Moonlight and sunbeams
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: None, Danâs asleep so no profanities
Word count: ~650
Summary: Phil loves Dan
Phil just liked to watch Dan do things. The way he hummed to himself whilst cooking dinner, the way he soundlessly drummed his fingers against his laptop or the way his nose scrunched up and the sides of his eyes crinkled when he laughed. He liked to watch as the light danced over the curves and swoops in his hair and how the sunbeams reflected on it in the sun and how it was almost luminescent in the moonlight even though it was dark brown. Dan was a whirlwind, as turbulent as a thunderstorm in the warm summer evenings, always on his way even though he wasnât going anywhere.
It was one of the rare occasions where Dan wasnât fidgeting and he had for once really settled down. His head was in Philâs lap and his soft curls lay against the rough fabric of Philâs jeans, his eyelashes ghosted over his pale cheeks and his chest rose and fell in time with Philâs own breaths. It was quiet in the living room except for the soft clicking that came from the radiator. Spring was approaching so the heat wasnât really needed anymore, but Phil liked for it to be on for as long as possible so he could get away with not wearing socks in the still cold April mornings. Without him noticing his hand had started stroking the side of Danâs face, his finger lightly tracing over Danâs cheekbones. It was quite late in the evening, but some light had still found itâs way through the blinds, casting shadows on the both them. A lightstrip fell on Danâs face, illuminating his smooth features, making his skin a soft blue colour. Dan had both of his hands tucked under his cheek and his mouth was slightly agape, his breath softly trickling between his lips and onto Philâs thigh. And in that moment, his whole body was just full of the soft, red, hot feeling of love and utter devotion.
Phil sometimes thought the love he had for this boy was going to make his heart crumple into tiny little pieces because of it being just so much all the time, but unbeknownst to him, it only made it grow stronger and beat harder for each day passing. He could feel the warmth from Danâs body through his clothes, his skin almost burning with the affection his heart pumped out. Phil carefully put his hand in Danâs curls, and Dan let out a contented sigh. The curls felt so soft against his fingers as he combed through them, watching them bounce back into place time and time again.
The two of them really loved each other, he had never been more certain of anything else in his entire life. The three words having being uttered on many occasions; huddled together under the covers, in the back of a taxi, quietly whispered in changing rooms before shows, screamed across the apartment, little black letters on the screens of their phones, through a grainy webcam at three in the morning. And thatâs what he thought about whilst sitting there with the person he loved the most sleeping in his lap, fragile and trusting. Danâs smile, his hands on his body, his lips on his neck, his every thought and dream out in the air, spoken quietly as if them being said to loud would make them break.
Phil felt his eyelids starting to droop and it felt as though tiny weights had been attached to them. His hand was buried deep in Danâs hair and he draped the soft fabric of a blanket over the both of them. The light passing through the blinds had changed slightly, it was clearer and brighter. It reflected of his pale skin and Danâs curls looked like silver, softly glistening. The last thing he saw was moonlight.
A/N: yo main bitch is back! i feel like this one it really shit, but i just needed to write something other than schoolwork. but thank you for like 150 notes on my other fics, it makes my heart v happy. well, imma go now, have a great day or night or whatever. hugs, kisses and a bum-nip.
The Fault In Our Stars
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: Mentions death and dying.
Word count: 1.7k
Summary: Dan and Phil are watching The Fault In Our Stars and Dan canât shut up.
Disclaimer: This fic contains major TFIOS-spoilers (duh), so if you havenât watched the movie or read the book, donât read this, that is if you care about it being spoiled, if you don't - please, feel free to continue.
Dan was in his room, slumped down in a position that couldnât be good for his spine, lazily scrolling on Tumblr when Phil burst trough his door. Dan didnât have to look up to see that he was excited and couldnât wait to tell him something. Through his peripheral vision he saw Phil shifting his weight between his feet at a fast pace. He snickered and brought his hand up to his mouth as he turned to adress Phil. His eyes sparkled and Danâs heart felt like it was about to burst right out of his chest. His almost 30-year old boyfriend was literally a big child. âDan, Dan, Dan, Da-â, Phil said, trying to contain his excitement, failing miserably. âWell, Philip, that is indeed my name.â Dan said, interrupting Phil. âDo you know what I got in the mail today?â Phil asked, almost jumping up and down. And it was just now that Dan saw that Phil was hiding something behind his back. âNo Phil, what is it?â, Dan asked, chuckling as he closed his laptop and put it down on the bed beside him. He swung his legs over the edge of the bed so that he was sitting up, facing Phil. âJust a signed copy of the âThe Fault In Our Starsâ DVD!â Phil said, pulling the flat rectangle from behind his back to show Dan. He was basically bouncing up and down at this point, looking like an excited little dog. âOh my god! I have been wanting to watch that forever!â Dan exclaimed as he stood up and started walking towards Phil, taking the movie from Philâs outstretched hand. He first looked at the cover before turning it around to look at the back of it. As he was reading the description on the back, Phil nudged him. âCan we watch it now? Please Dan!â Phil said, sounding rather childish and whiney. âPhil, you have known me for 7 years, you should know by now that I never back down from a chance of watching a teenage drama.â Dan said dramatically, putting a hand to his chest in an effort to try to look offended. Phil giggled, poking his tongue out between his teeth, making it hard for Dan not to join in. âOkay, battle plan,â Phil said, gesticulating excitedly with his hands, âYou get out into the kitchen and pop some popcorn and Iâll go cozying up the living room, okay?â Phil said, placing a kiss on Danâs cheek before strutting away towards the living room. âOkay.â Dan said, winking at Phil.
Dan swiftly made his way into the kitchen, pulling out a bag of microwave popcorn from one of the cupboards. He put it in the microwave and pressed the timer button four times, the machine making a beeping sound every time he pressed his finger onto it. As the microwave started spinning he turned around to open the fridge to get them something to drink. He then grabbed a bottle of Ribena and put it on the counter as he got up onto his tiptoes to get to the highest shelf in the cupboard, where they kept their whine glasses. Dan took two of them out, taking them in one hand, and the Ribena in the other. He walked to the living room where he heard Phil messing around. âHey Phil, the popcorn will be ready soon, just thought Iâd drop these of while Iâm waiting.â Dan said whilst Phil walked towards him, waving his hands infront of him. âNo, no, no, Dan! Itâs not done yet, youâll have to wait until itâs ready!â Phil said, snatching the drinks and glasses from Danâs hands. Confused, Dan turned his heel and walked back into the kitchen. He leaned against the kitchen counter, shaking his head, silently laughing because Phil was so cute and stupid at the same time. When the microwave beeped he grabbed a bowl from the cupboard. As he opened the bag he burnt his fingers, dropping it on the floor. Dan cursed as he bent down to pick it up and fortunately, not many popcorns had fallen out and he proceeded to pour the rest of them into the bowl. He picked it up and started walking towards the living room yet again. This time he was met with a closed door so instead of opening it, he knocked. âBabe, are you done in there? I have popcorn!â, Dan said, knowing popcorn was one of Philâs greatest weaknesses in life. He heard Phil shuffling on the inside, his steps slowly approaching the door. âWelcome Mr. Howell, to the most romantic our living room has ever been.â Phil said as he opened the door, gesticulating for Dan to get in. Dan couldnât believe his eyes as he was met with fairy lights high and low, the two glasses he had brought earlier had been neatly put on the sofa table and next to them stood the bottle of Ribena. Phil had brought his duvet and loads of pillows and put them on the sofa. âPhil, weâre only watching a movie, you didnât have to do this!â, Dan gasped. âWell, maybe Iâm big on romantic gestures, just like Augustus Waters.â, Phil said, as he took the popcorn from Dan, replacing it with his own hands. He pulled Dan into a kiss and Danâs heart fluttered, even though they had been together for years. But Dan had long ago accepted the fact that he would never get used to Philâs kisses, and he didnât mind one bit. As they pulled away, Dan put his forehead on Philâs. âDo you know that youâre my favorite person? Like ever?â, he said, smiling, intertwining Philâs fingers with his.
Once they had made themselves comfortable in the sofa, Dan leaning on Phil, pulling the duvet over both of them, Phil got the remote, ready to press play. âAnd Dan, what are the rules for when we watch a movie?â, Phil asked, poking Dan in the ribs. âYeah, yeah, I know. No talking, just sitting still and being quiet. Thanks for reminding me âmumââ, Dan answered making a point by sounding as whiney as possible. âGood.â Phil said whilst pressing play on the remote control. As the movie started playing, Dan got, if possible, even closer to Phil, putting his head on his shoulder. Phil kissed the top of Danâs head before leaning his own on top of it, making his glasses go slightly askew. Dan had managed to not break the rules for about 5 minutes when he started talking. âPhil, Iâm so sorry, but isnât Augustus so hot?â he said, âHow old is he anyways?â he continued, âThe actor I mean, I donât want to be a creep because I find him particularly good looking if heâs like 16 or something.â âDaaaaanâŚ..!â, Phil complained, âYou were not supposed to be talking, remember?â Phil said, reaching forward to paus the movie. âAlright, Iâm sorry, I just thought Iâd share this very important observation.â Dan said, pressing play again and settling back in with Phil. Phil sighed loudly, but could none the less stop himself from smiling. Maybe 2 minutes went by before Dan spoke up again. âHey Phil, I think Augustus is a better driver then you are.â he said teasingly, looking up at Phil, giggling. This time, Phil didnât say anything, he just sighed and made a point by holding his hand over Danâs mouth. âOh, kinky.â, Dan said, Philâs hand muffling his voice. He then huffed as Phil poked him in the stomach. That made him shut up and he put his head back down on Philâs shoulder again. Although, Phil could still hear him snickering quietly to himself for a bit. This time he kept his mouth shut for quite an impressing amount of time, at least for being Dan Howell. As Hazel and Augustus kissed, he took a sharp breath, clapping his hands together quietly. He then quieted down for a moment and Phil could almost hear the gears in his head shifting. After a while he opened his mouth. âPhil, donât you think that them kissing in the Anne Frank House is quite problematic?â Phil leaned forward to pause the movie again, âDan, please, weâre watching a movie right now. We can discuss that later.â, he said turning around to face his boyfriend. âHmpfâŚFine.â Dan said as he crossed his arms, trying to look as grumpy as he possibly could. Phil let out a quiet laugh as he took Dan into his arms, violently kissing his face. âAlright! I get it!â, Dan yelled while laughing. They daringly looked into each others eyes for a bit before Phil broke the silence. âIâm so annoyed right now,â Phil said, chuckling softly, âbut I have to give it to you that you know exactly how to do just that.â Phil unpaused the movie again and pulled Dan to his chest, hugging him tightly. They stayed like that, and Dan didnât say anything else for a long time.
What brought Philâs attention away from the movie was Dan trying to discreetly dry his obviously runny nose on his sleeve, sniffling as he did. He then noticed that Dan was shaking slightly, and Phil put his hands on the sides of Danâs face, gently turning it towards him. Danâs eyes were red and puffy and tears were streaming down his face. He was sobbing uncontrollably at this point clutching Philâs as he buried his face in his shirt. He relaxed slightly as Phil stroked his back, trying to comfort him. âDan, Iâm right here, itâs just a movie.â Phil said, kissing Danâs cheek, catching the taste of salt from his tears. âYeah, but I started thinking about what would happen if you died and then I got even more sad.â, Dan sobbed, âItâs not just from that pretty boy dying if thatâs what you thought.â, he said chuckling a bit through his tears. âWell, I am here right now.â Phil said, pulling him into a tight embrace, âAnd Iâm not leaving anytime soon either.â, he said as he let his fingers comb through Danâs hair. âI love you Phil.â Dan said, raising his head from Philâs shoulder. âI love you too.â Phil said, kissing Dan on the lips, which tasted of tears. Dan then proceeded to lay down on the sofa with his head in Philâs lap. He fell asleep like that, to the voice of Ed Sheeran as the end screen started rolling.
âSo open your eyes and see, the way our horizons meet. And all of the lights will lead, into the night with me. And I know these scars will bleed, but both of our hearts believe. All of the stars will guide us home.â
A/N: and here i am, back at it again with another fanfic. i wrote this while watching the actual the fault in our stars-movie, and i would lie if i said i didnât cry at the end (as always). as usual, i hope you enjoyed it. iâll see you soon! hugs, kisses and a bum-nip.
Best Song Ever

Word count: 1.9k
Summary: Phil sings Danâs Diss track just to annoy him.
Disclaimer: If you havenât watched Danâs Diss track, or if you havenât seen it in a long time, please do to refresh your memory a bit before reading this. Or maybe youâre trash like me, and know the video by heart.
Phil sat by the desk in the office, watching Youtube whilst drinking a cup of coffee. He had burnt his tongue a couple of minutes earlier, so when he brought the mug up to his mouth this time, he sipped on it carefully, and fortunately it had cooled down somewhat. He was supposed to edit a gaming video that was due in 2 hours, but he was so tired and couldnât find the willpower to get going and do it. Dan usually did most of the editing, but he was out buying groceries, so Phil had volunteered to do it, just so they could upload it on time.
He had watched a couple of his friends recent videos when he stumbled upon Danâs Diss track that he had posted yesterday. Phil hadnât seen it in itâs entirety yet, since he had been really busy, but he decided that now was the time. âHello internet! My name is Dan, and today, I am going to roast myself with a diss track.â the familiar voice of his boyfriend said, his voice booming through the speakers that were placed on the desk. As Dan failed to put his sunglasses on, Phil giggled, and in the background a beat started playing, and soon enough, believe it or not, Daniel James Howell was actually rapping. Phil smiled as he remembered when Dan had brought up the idea of a diss track to him for the first time. Phil hadnât believed his ears. Was his boyfriend actually doing a diss track? Yes he was. For the next few days Dan started working on the lyrics, occasionally asking Phil for advice, and the both of them would then laugh at some of the utterly stupid ones he had already come up with. When the shot of him on a bed with a flower crown came on he couldnât contain his laughter. Dan hadnât told him what the shot was for, just that he needed it for his diss track. As Dan rapped the lyrics that went along with it, Phil quite literally lost it. When he had watched it once, he came up with a brilliant idea. He decided he was going to learn the song so he could sing it to Dan when he came home. âThat would annoy the crap out of him.â Phil thought, giggling to himself, as he hit the replay button on the video. Fortunately Dan hade put the lyrics in the description as well, and Phil started mouthing them to himself as his boyfriend rapped them at the same time in the video.
When he hit replay for maybe the 20th time, he heard keys being put in the front door and then paper bags crinkling when being put on the floor in the hallway. âBabe? Can you please come help me with the groceries?â Dan shouted and Phil quickly pressed âXâ on the Youtube tab he had open on the computer. When he didnât answer, Dan called for him again, âPhil? PHIL?! Can you come downstairs please?â. Phil stood up, pulling the hoodie he had hung on the back of the chair on again, struggling a bit with one of the arms that had somehow turned itself inside out. âYeah, Iâm coming!â he shouted back, while taking the steps of the stairs downstairs two and two. After another few flights of stairs he found Dan bent over, untying the laces of his shoes. As he stood up again, he saw Phil. He smiled and put his arms out for Phil to walk into, and Phil did just that. Dan gave Phil a quick kiss before nuzzling his head in the crook of his neck. Dan then spoke out, his voice muffled because of him having his face pressed into Philâs hoodie. âIâve missed you.â, he said. âBut youâve only been out for like an hour and a half?â Phil answered, laughing silently. âYeah, but I donât like people and I donât like going outside.â Dan said, pulling away from the hug. They both smiled and Dan started handing Phil the bags. He took two in each hand and started walking up the stairs. He put the bags down on the kitchen counter and turned around to go downstairs and help Dan with the remaining ones. But just as he was about to put his hand on the glass door and open it, he saw Dan through it, bags in both hands, under his arms and even one with the handles between his teeth. He grunted and nodded to Phil to make him open the door. He opened it, laughing att Dan, watching him waddle towards the counter and plonking down the bags on there. As he did, he let out a relieved sigh and turned to Phil. âWhy didnât you wait for me to get the rest?â, Phil asked, âOr you could at least have gone two times?â Phil said, laughing att the offended look on Danâs face. âDonât you believe in my carrying skills?â, he said, gesticulating dramatically with his hands. âAnd, going two times are for losers anyways.â, he proclaimed whilst starting to put things where they belonged in the cupboards. âHave you started editing the video then, Phil?â Dan continued, briefly turning around to look at his boyfriend. âUm yeah,â he lied, âIâm almost done actually, so I think Iâm heading back up to the office to finish it if thatâs okay?â Phil asked, walking towards Dan, gently putting his thumb on Danâs chin to turn his head towards him. Dan smiled and pecked him on the lips before turning his attention back to the groceries. âWell, you do that, and Iâll start with dinner.â he said, smacking Philâs bum as he walked away. âHEY!â Phil yelled, looking in Danâs direction only to be met with him giggling and smiling so hard he had crinkles by his eyes. He shook his head, trying not to smile, struggling to keep the corners of his mouth down.
As soon as he sat down in the office chair, he started to frantically edit the video, since he had told Dan that he was almost done, even though he hadnât even started. He imported all the clips from the camera and put them all in the editing software. Dan looked particularly good in this video, his hair being slightly curly and him wearing his camouflage shirt. Phil loved Danâs curly hair, and he didnât get why he was so stubborn on keeping it straight most of the time. About 45 minutes later he had edited the video and had started to upload it to Youtube. As it was uploading Phil remembered the diss track. He could hear Dan shuffling around in the kitchen, the faint sound of pots and pans clinking together in the background. He opened another tab in the browser to try to find the beat Dan had used in the background of his video. After about five minutes he found it, and as he was about to download it to put it on his phone, Dan called him from downstairs. âPhil! Dinnerâs ready!â âComing!â, Phil shouted back, impatiently tapping his foot against the floor as the song was downloading. Luckily, it wasnât long before it was finished and he could go downstairs. Just outside the living room door there was a stereo with an aux-cord and Phil plugged his phone into it. The beat started playing and he walked into the living room. Dan sat on the sofa with his phone in his hand, and on the sofa table there were two plates with tacos on them, as well as two tall glasses of Ribena. As Phil walked into the living room, to the beat of the song, Dan looked up, looking really confused, until it dawned on him what Phil was about to do. His eyes widened and he quickly sat up straight. âPhil, what the actual fuck are you-â he said before Phil started rapping, cutting him of. âA month without uploading he comes back with a tag, that no one even tagged him in, heâs not a challenge to drag.â Phil rapped, walking up to Dan, âSo prepare for an attack, and by that i mean cringe, cause this motherflufferâs âbout to get dragged by his fringe.â he continued, flicking Danâs fringe of his forehead. âNOOOOOOOOO! Stop it, I donât want to!â Dan squealed, as he launched his body at Phil, holding him tightly from behind. Phil quickly got out of his grip and jumped away from his boyfriend, who looked like he was about to crumple into tiny pieces out of cringe and embarrassment. âFirst things first youâre freakishly tall, itâs weird you look like a noodleâŚâ Phil said, holding up his left hand to count every insult as he said them. âNo no no no no no no!â Dan said, trying to catch Phil again. But this time, Phil knew what Dan was about to do, and jumped to the left while giggling uncontrollably, with his tongue poking out between his teeth, which made it really hard for him to rap. He continued the song whilst skipping and jumping around the room in an effort to avoid Dan from stopping him. ââŚThe only reason you get views, is youâre another white guy, that people ship with his friend, âcause they think itâs kawaiiâŚâ Phil sang as he put a hand under his chin and tilting his head to the right. Dan had stood still for quite some time now, with his hands on his hips, and as Phil looked at him, he saw the corners of his mouth twitch as he was trying to keep a straight face. When Phil rapped the line âWhat the frick even is your sexuality?â he burst into laughter, clutching his stomach and joining in with Phil for the last few lines of the song. ââŚRepress it? Yup! Before i start crying letâs wrap this shit up. Iâm gonna go and masturbate, then cry into a slice of pizzaâŚâ they chanted together through fits of laughter. ââŚâcause you just witnessed the roast of Danisnotonfire.â they said falling down on the sofa next to each other. Panting and giggling as the song finished. They looked at each other only to start laughing uncontrollably again. Once they calmed down, Dan climbed into Philâs lap, letting Phil put an arm around his shoulders as he put his head on his shoulder. âI should be pissed at you right now, but I really canât. You are such an endearing person and this is just such a Phil-thing to do. But I still canât fucking believe youâŚâ Dan said, shaking his head slightly. Phil heard the smile, which was probably plastered on Danâs face, in his voice. âI swear I watched the video like a hundred times when you went to the shop just to learn the lyrics. That, if anything, is called dedicationâ Phil said. âWith that much dedication, you could probably learn âDanger men at workâ too.â Dan said teasingly, poking Philâs side, and then continuing, âBut I canât believe you changed the curse words.â, Dan said as he started laughing again, âWho would even do that?â he continued, the words becoming more high pitched towards the end. He sat up and turned around so that he was facing Phil. âYou know I donât curse Dan.â Phil said, laughing softly, âAnd itâs not like Iâd start doing that after almost 30 years because of your stupid diss track.â he continued. âSay âcuntâ.â Dan said, nudging Phil. âNo, I donât want to!â Phil proclaimed. âPhil, just say it!â Instead of answering, Phil leaned forward, connecting his lips with Danâs. They were soft and warm and tasted like Dan. He put his hand around Danâs waist and pulled him closer. âYouâre stupid.â, Dan said smiling into the kiss. âI love you too.â, Phil said, pulling Dan even closer, continuing to kiss him, when Dan abruptly pulled away. âOh no! The foodâs got cold now.â Dan noted, putting his arm out, gesticulating towards the tacos on the table. âPizza?â, Phil asked, raising an eyebrow. âPizza.â, Dan answered.

Cold Feet
Genre: All the fluff
Word count: 551
Summary: Dan is going to bed and his feet are cold.
The phonescreen lit up as Dan pressed the homebutton on his phone, nearly blinding him. He shot a quick glance at it only to discover it was actually 3:57 AM. He then closed his laptop after deciding it was time to go to bed now. As always, he had promised Phil not to stay up too late, but what could he do, the infinite scrolling on Tumblr were both a blessing and a curse. He put the laptop on his nightstand and stood up from his bed, putting his arms above his head, stretching. He accidentaly let out a really loud yawn and he cursed under his breath because he didnât want to wake Phil up. He proceeded on his quest of getting into his boyfriends room as quietly as possible, but as always, the floorboard that sat just inside Philâs door creaked, and he heard some shuffling between the green and blue sheets. It was dark in the room, only a tiny lamp in the hallway, whose light barely made it past Philâs doorpost, were still on. âDan? You coming to bed finally?â Phil said, his voice raspy and full of sleep. âYeah, scoot over you spork, so I can cuddle you.â Dan answered whilst climbing under the sheets that Phil held up for him to get under. Dan lay down next to Phil, tucking his feet between his legs, and putting an arm around his waist. âDAN! Your toes are literally like ice cubes, i am going to get frostbite!â Phil squealed, trying to get his legs as far away from Danâs freezing toes as he possibly could. Dan giggled and they legwrestled for a while, before Danâs feet were once and for all tangled with Philâs, which made him whine and moan in displeasure. âIf i amâ, Dan said, softly kissing Philâs neck âgoing to be theâ, he continued pulling Phil even closer, nussling his head in the crook of his neck, planting a tired kiss on his cheek âbig spoon tonight, this is just the things youâre going to have to put up with.â he proclamied, taking Philâs hand in his, intertwining their fingers. âAnd, you are the litteral sun after all, so you should be able to warm my toes up, right?â Dan teased, his words becoming more and more incoherent by the second, as sleep slowly came over him. âFine, I will make the sacrifice and warm up your poor, poor toes, but just because you are so damn cute when youâre sleepy. â Phil said kissing the back of the hand Dan had placed in his. âDonât try and charm me now Lester, you ainât getting this sweet ass tonight anyways.â Dan said, sounding half asleep as he did. Phil laughed softly, turning around to kiss Dan on the lips. âYeah, yeah, yeah, great kisses, ten out of ten, sleep now.â Dan mumbled, earning yet another silent laugh from Phil. Phil turned around again, shuffling right back into Danâs arms, putting one over his waist and started to slowly stroke circles at the base of Danâs thumb. As Phil started to drift away again, he thought of how lucky he was, and how much he loved this boy. When he woke up the next morning, it was with a faint smile on his face.
