Hello! Ota here to update you guys on the game! Sorry for not keeping up with the blog on a weekly basis but here’s our game’s screenshots!~

These screenshots highlight the game basic functions. It’s a mixture of both click & point and visual novel functions with a dictionary!

For the most part we got what we wanted to showcase for the Thesis exhibit despite having to cut out some parts and minor bugging. Much hope to go further on this project in the future.

House of Seasons planned to be in Yaoi Jam 2017!

Hi! This is Ota speaking! On behalf of OTALY ( @foggedyonders & @peachfuel ), I am glad to announce that House of Seasons will debut this year’s Yaoi Jam! Well, a side-story of House of Seasons to be more precise. ( a good teaser if the actual project will stick or not~ ;3c )

DUTIES TO FULFILL :

The process will not follow this order exactly, in fact, we’re expecting it would be messier but here’s the overall stuff needed to be done.

I will place a scale or go in full detail on how far we are in the production.

Script:

Prologue Routes ( 2+ ) Script Checking

Art:

Character Sprites Background Art CG UI Graphics

Coding:

Implementing script to renpy Implement SFX UI

Others:

Beta testing Other stuff???

Knowing very well of my limitations, writing being one of them. I am hoping to look for an editor while I’m in the writing process. Writing will probably will be the biggest challenge for me. So I’m taking these 2 weeks to write a story with at least 2 routes. There isn’t a determined amount of endings desired yet so I will write as much as I can.

As for the art, we’re still discussing about the what art direction we want to pursue. But I’m not too worried about (yet) because the script is needed first.

Coding…Another hurdle that I’m aware of but that fear will later.

Beta testers are crucial, but we’ll be allowing volunteers after the script, most of the art, and coding are done.

I should really change my icon for christ sakes. It’s probably around 3 years old now. Also hi, I’m not dead. I’ve been well and kicking.
