Luke is cheered for saving his father, but was criticized for not pulling up to Crait with a laser sword and dealing the First Order a killing Jedi blow.

That is not how he wins. That is not how the galaxy wins.

Rey knows that by reaching the heart of all this, they win. She chooses to see the light that still resides in Ben, the light that threatens to seep through the cracks of his façade.

Rose puts into words exactly what Star Wars has ALWAYS been about; love, hope, redemption. And yet, dudebros reprimanded her for it.
