@former-she-they
hello!
after hate-reading radblr for a while i’ve peaked and decided to make this blog bc the TRAs at my school are driving me batty <3
“i dont hate trans women i just think theyre men” really has the exact same energy as “i dont hate gay people i just dont think they should get married”
it’s not the same. saying male people are men regardless of identity is not denying them equal rights. a better comparison would be “i don’t hate trans women i just don’t think they should transition,” and even that doesn’t compare to actual homophobia. stop sniffing the glue bud.
“i think you should be denied all bodily autonomy and left in a depressive suicidal state” yeah that’s pretty bad and i don’t appreciate you saying it doesn’t compare
i don’t think people should transition for the same reason i don’t think people should get plastic surgery. mental issues should not be treated by irreversible changes to the body. do you support anorexic women being put on diet pills? should women with body dysmorphia get plastic surgery? again, i’m not lobbying to make transition illegal, their body their choice. but that doesn’t mean i have to support it. if your natural body makes you depressed/suicidal, you need psychiatric help, not your genitals mutilated and hormone levels fucked up.
it has been studied for going on a hundred years that that shit doesn’t work, the patients remain depressive and often become more suicidal
like, i can go into how i think using pyschiatric therapy on trans people (and thus prioritizing the person’s body over their mind) is ethically bankrupt and goes against my moral code, but instead we should focus on the observable factual data that it is not an effective treatment, and so it would be medically irresponsible to prescribe
also, psychiatric therapy for people with psychiatric conditions is…morally bankrupt??? that is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard 😭 how it it medically irresponsible to provide therapy for people who hate their body? and are there sources saying it’s not effective?
it isn’t psychiatric, its neurological, you don’t want to listen to facts
EVERY source says its not effective, hence why it isn’t used
you still lack an actual source saying that. and how is it neurological? how does gender dysphoria relate to the nervous system at all?
Gender dysphoria is a mental disorder what the hell is going on here lmao
It isn’t my fucking neurological system that makes me wish I had a penis and no tits it’s my fucked up brain lmfaooo
brain scans actually suggest otherwise, but as long as you’re happy you can hold a dissenting opinion (even if it is wrong)
i hope your transition goes well
The DSM 5 suggests otherwise, actually. I’m not fucking “”“transitioning”“” and destroying my perfectly functioning body because I’m mentally ill what the fuck is wrong with you
welp i can’t see that lifestyle working out very well, i’ll give you 10 years until you’ve either gotten the double masectomy or offed yourself
Wow you’re literally a fucking psycho. Don’t fucking tell people they’re going to kill themselves like it’s fucking inevitable?? Especially people with severe mental illness??? How deranged are you to think that is in any way an acceptable thing to do?????
And for the record, I’ll be just fine with my feminist sisters backing me up and supporting me through my struggles. Something the trans community would never do since they believe poorly researched drugs and damaging surgeries are the fix for everything.
its not a threat, its a warning, i’ll admit i was a little mean but i’m just being honest, you deserve happiness and are not on a good path, i’ve literally read of ex-gender criticals who almost ended it because they forced themself to “accept their body” instead of being treated properly according to researched medical standards that have been around for a century now
i can see how very troubled you are, forcing yourself into a box that is not right, thinking that “body acceptance” is the answer to every human condition
what the hell is wrong with you?? why would you ever think that that’s an appropriate thing for you to say ever?? you really think it’s appropriate to tell a woman that’s said that she struggles with mental illness that it’s inevitable that she’ll mutilate or kill herself??
i’d be interested to read about these “ex-gender criticals” that have almost killed themselves because they’ve accepted what their body is. also, the fact that you use the words “treated properly” to describe the actual bodily mutilation of people is...incredible, to say the least.
god i fucking hate creepy ass dudes who try to force their way into lesbians’ spaces and lives
ha ha ha ha ha it’s funny because it’s transphobic
WHY are terfs like THAT. WHY is their name “menstruater” like it that really all you ever want to be? That’s all you want women to be boiled down to? Am I supposed to take your take on womanhood in your posts seriously? You say you’re lovers of women and yet you tie the entirety of womanhood to the very thing that has allowed men to shame, abuse, and enslave is for centuries. I’m a cis woman and I don’t menstruate because I don’t choose to (I skip it with birth control to clarify). Trans woman don’t need to bleed and be in pain every month to be women. Is it a huge part of womanhood for cis woman and something that’s supposed to unite us as a shared experience - yes I think so. So stop making it something that excludes trans wlw because I love them and cherish them as a part of this community whether they have the ability to menstru8te or not.
THIS! This is what is always creeping me out about TERFs: They claim to be against patriarchy, but reduce women to their parts and unnecessary body functions that are annoying to painful for many women (and trans men and nonbinary people but I know how much you would want to deny that) as patriarchy does. You literally reinforcing patriarchy under oh so “feminist” names.
And what is this bullshit with “invading wlw spaces”? Has that actually ever happend, that trans women tried violently to get into spaces for wlw, outside of TERF propaganda? Not even to mention that it is bullshit and their right to fight to get access to these spaces because they are literally wlw. Not their fault that you all are opressive assholes who bully them out of spaces where they actually belong.
Honestly people going on rants about how “menstruator” is proof of terf’s misogyny when it’s a direct (And universally understood by all Radfem) reference to how how TRANSACTIVISTS refers to women is my favorite thing about this posts.
Go check @erasureofwomenslanguage please
If you think “menstruator” is misogynistic, congrats ! You’re a terf. Welcome to the club.

all classic lit is gay - an essay
we love some good ol’ homophobia disguised as wokeness™
when modern day trans community falls in love with 1800s misplaced soul/invert theory as a way to explain away gays 😔👌
Nasty fucking homophobes have no place in the lgb community OR with our literature
YIKES
This eagerness to excuse lesbianism as transness is blatant homophobia. “I am convinced I must be some mans soul put into a womans body” is not a fucking “I must actually find a mental game to make myself straight.” It is a woman struggling with homosexuality in a time where such a thing wasn’t ever spoken of as an option or something that could even exist. Of course this poor woman wondered what must be wrong with her - but no where did she describe unhappiness with her womanhood. The concept of “trans” didn’t even exist. And these people pushing their agenda on the tragic stories of homosexual woman in historical times is ignorant and narssisistic at best, and blatant homophobia and despicable erasure at worst.
Lesphobia honestly makes me really sad. What we fight for is not your trans aesthetic.
Also, living in a time where the only romantic affection is seen between a man and a woman, it would definitely make a lesbian think she has a man’s soul. It’s really not that hard to understand that guys. So many historical or even recently gay people thought like that. I’ve seen people saying historical women who disguised themselves as men to get a job or be with a female partner are trans. This is such ignorance and blatant disregard of the misogyny women had to suffer. If you were a lesbian or a woman wanting to have a man’s job in that time period you would dress as a man as well just to keep yourself safe and not get killed.
its common for lesbians to have been referred to as “having a male spirit/soul” because the default man is attracted to women, hence in the then society’s eyes, lesbians were “like men”. trans people embracing this age old homophobic concept just proves how great allies they are.
Arguably the oldest misconception if not source of oppression for lesbians and here are the “queer/trans” ‘community’ excitedly screeching ‘trans’ because their philosophy has nothing going for it (it’s dying out) they consume everything around them to turn it into evidence

some important advice
That guy on the women's swim team fucks me up. Everyone who has played a sport knows that people who don't think they can win won't win no matter how good they are otherwise. Putting a man in women's swim meets is like psychological warfare lmao, these girls' times are going to tank for real. I don't think people understand that swimming isn't really a team sport. This guy's female teammates are being destroyed professionally by his presence. Nothing about his wins are helping them.
choose your fighter
Why not both?
I don’t trust anyone who thinks the fear of predatory men is more of an issue than predatory men
This is so accurate it hurts.
So last night was my first welding class and the second i walked through the door the teacher said “hey you’re zoe right” and I started to panic because how does the teacher immediately know who I am fuck did I have this teacher before how come i don’t recognize him fuck fuck i’m a terrible person
turns out i’m just the youngest person in the class by about 30 years so the deduction wasn’t that hard
anyways, apparently people keep taking the welding class over and over again and the wait list is like 100 people long and so it was by some act of providence of pure dumb luck that I managed to get a spot. This also means I was the only person there who hadn’t welded before.
I’m stationed at a big center table where the teacher can keep an eye on me, and everyone else is in booths on the surrounding walls each making their own projects. And these are impressive looking projects. One guy is making a side table, a woman is making a giant metal rocking chair, and another guy was making a wind chime out of old compressed air canisters.
The elderly gentlemen in the booth right behind me introduces himself to me as Jim and asks me if this is my first time and I say yeah and he smiles at me and tells me I’m gonna love it and how this class is so fun.
Immediately Jim becomes my new best friend. He comes over whenever I stop to take a break and asks how I’m doing and even helps me take the welding mask off when I couldn’t figure out how to do it myself.
at one point i see Jim and another old guy talking to the teacher and i catch the old guy pointing at me. now being pointed at is usually never a good thing. the teacher has had me welding edges of scrap metal together so I can get a feel for the equipment. The teacher comes to check on me and I jokingly as him if those seasoned guys were making fun of me.
Turns out I’m super good at welding and the old guy didn’t believe it was my first time welding ever and Jim was trying to convince him I was a newbie. :D
So for the entire 3 hour long class, like 15 middle aged and elderly people would periodically come by my table and check in with me, making sure I’m having fun and asking me questions about my life, and things like, do you know where the drinking fountain is, making sure I’m taking breaks, looking out for me and that kind of thing, all while being completely kind and supporting and complimenting me on my welding skills.
and that’s how a community center welding class gave me 15 new grandparents. i love them all and this class is going to be amazing
important addition 3 years later because I forgot:
the other elderly gentleman’s name is Gino and spoke with a thick Italian accent and took to calling me Bella for the rest of the semester. Jim made sure to always take the booth closest to me.
Another guy in the class named Mike did salvage diving as a hobby and always showed me pictures of the cool stuff he’d found. He also made very cool sculptures out of spoons, forks and knives. I at one point made an offhand joke that I was moving soon, and was jealous that Mike had all this cutlery to spare to make sculptures out of. (I was going to be moving in with my boyfriend and neither of us really had a lot of kitchenware) The next class he brought in an entire cutlery set insisting that he was trying to clean out his house because he had so many and wouldn’t take no for an answer. We still have them to this day :)
They had cupcakes waiting for me on my birthday and on the last day they had framed picture of me with my final project because “it’s important to celebrate your successes” and encouraged me to give it to my mom (which of course I did, along with my cattail sculpture)
long story short I would die for each and every one of them and there’s a group email chain that we all still keep in touch with and as of a few months ago it was Gino’s 85th birthday.
this felt like some kind of modern poem. so,

“being penis-repulsed is only ok if”— i’m sorry, are we at the bazaar, haggling over a necklace? are you trying to bargain with me? are you trying to drive down the price of admission to my body? get thee behind me, incel.
I’m very excited for my latest craft experiment, where I rhythmically slap sale rank oil paint onto a canvas and I see how long it takes to dry so that I can finally touch the paint textures I stare at so longingly in museums. 12 hours in, still wet. I am beginning to think this might take longer than I thought which you can imagine is quite a burden, as I am absolutely horned up to rub this paint.
You guys sound like you know what you’re talking about but I’m gonna touch it every twenty minutes just to be sure
I’ve put this canvas to age in the basement like a fine wine, along another recent masterpiece of mine “I put the paint on me hand and I slap the canvas like a bongo”
Paint slapped on 6/9, as of 6/22 (I mean actually it was a couple days ago but I didn’t fully check the dryness then so I can’t be sure):
It is rubbery feeling and the peaks of paint move when you flick them. The texture is not at ALL what I expected tbh and it makes me excited to try a different experiment, thick brush strokes, you know, those mad thicc ones that swirl real good
Here’s an additional shot with my coffee cup for a further sense of scale so people will understand that these canvases are small and therefore stop sending me asks about my supposedly gorilla sized hands, you bastards, you rotten bastards scared of the hands your minds gave me
I don’t know shit about art but isn’t this like a great example of art that pushes the boundaries of what art is? Like you’ve got your canvas with paint on it, but your reason for putting the paint there is totally different than why most people put paint on stuff. It’s like a study on texture or something.
Agreed, this is really cool and also I love the fact that you really wanted to touch some paint, so you just went out and bought a bunch of paint and made your own painting for touching purposes. That’s striking me as really really cool right now for reasons I can’t entirely articulate.
For reference: Really thick paint on a piece of art is called impasto. Another really fun way to do it is with a painting knife: you can make each stroke SUPER SMOOTH like cake icing, but with visible, touchable texture between the strokes.
More impasto:
art by Jan Ironside, who does THICK IMPASTO FLOWERS THAT I SO WANT TO TOUCH
You LITERALLY sat down to watch paint dry…
Museums should have stuff like this on display JUST so you can touch it. With a sign like, “Feel me up! I won’t alarm!”
make good art
Only thing about thick impasto is that the paint can get a bit sharp sometimes. Like, I’ve cut my hand on dried impasto paint because the paint stroke was that pointed. -.-;
Every reply on this post is delightful
sorry this is not relevant at all but ive seen this post many times and EVERY SINGLE TIME “ stop sending me asks about my supposedly gorilla sized hands, you bastards, you rotten bastards scared of the hands your minds gave me” makes me spiral ive never laughed so hard thank you
