All right, so, if you're wondering: yeah, I've boogied on out of here and to a new Tumblr. It's something I'd considered in the past but refrained from, but it seemed and felt right to me this time! The two major reasons are as follows:

My voice was being broadcast by lots of folks by way of reblogs and in some instances this meant my voice was being heard over other, more deserving voices. There isn’t a whole lot I can do to stop that so far as this Tumblr goes; I can’t prevent people from reblogging my posts. But I can remove myself from the spotlight! And I can be more careful about when I open my mouth and what I say.

This is going to sound super humble-braggy, but I really don’t know how else to say it. Here it is: I have way too many followers, and it's freaking me the fuck out. I am not a performative person. I do not enjoy constant attention. I do not want to be a ~notable~ person in fandom.

Will I come back to @roxanneritchi? Maybe! I might cross-post fic to this blog. Maybe not. I don't know.

Anything with well-written Gamzee/Tavros immediately goes into my “Must Read” list so…I’m off to find this now.

I CRIED. That's not a joke. I actually cried, because apparently I am way more into the tragedy of Gamzee/Tavros than even I expected. Not that I don't love all the other relationships, too, because OH, WOW, TEREZI, and I don't know if I can ever deal with the messed up central triad--what a delightful, terrible confusion of moiraillegiance and matespritship and overly jealous kismesis feelings arising from the depths of thwarted friendmance, etc.--but also Gamzee demanding Terezi allow him sopor so he could deal with interrogating Tavros and Terezi hating giving it to him but also wanting to lick his face while he licked her fingers just kind of made me want to pull my heart out and bury it in the Marianas Trench, that the ancient and unknowable mysteries might feast upon my devastation.
