haha totally didn't forget about this, nope, no siree
as compensation, I'll do a few more compared to last time
Ink: genderfluid, but in the way that somebody who doesn't care is genderfluid. Like, they're gender changes so quickly, they've given up. Like Lust in a way, whatever makes the joke land or the story progress. Or whatever pisses off Blue "Wooow, that's so sexist of you, just 'cause I'm a woman?" "Yikes, hating on me 'cause I stole your gender?" etc. This is a bastard that utilizes his bastardness.
Dream: a sort of softer version of Ink. Gender is a loose term to him, so he experimented a bit. He/him works in the general setting, but every once in a while Dream asks his friends to change it up a little. It never sticks around for more than a couple weeks at most, but Dream likes the idea of not being constrained. And genderfluidity is such a widespread phenomenon in the multiverse that he doesn't feel bad for asking his friends to change what they use for him, he just feels more normal.
Geno: strict he/him, "trans the skeleton" idea continuing. After however long in the Save Screen, thinking about life and death and Death, he's more comfortable with making people aware if they misgender him. Plus the anger issues, mans is not willing to put up with shit anymore, he's dealt with enough.
Reaper: Vaguely he/him or they/it. Sure he defaults to he/him, as the god of death, but sometimes he prefers to be referred to as the concept instead of the person. Hence the it/its. And for when he's in a slump or just can't be bothered to decide if he wants to be talked to or about, they/them makes things smoother.
Error: he/they. nearly full cycle for the "trans the skeleton" line. Between the whole "destroyer of AUs" bit, the constant solitude, and the occasional conversation with one of maybe three people he reliably likes, Error realized that maybe he isn't just a guy. Or he likes to destroy the basic idea some of the multiverse has built of him. Doesn't matter, the manic smile exists either way.
Cross: he/him, transmasc, was anybody surprised? No of course not. No further questions, your honor.
Killer: he/they/it, because of loss of self. A lot of shit has happened to this poor guy. A lot of shit will continue to happen. Sometimes it's easier to just, not be seen as before. Distancing himself from what he used to be. He's not accepting of everything, like how Nova is, but as a general Killer isn't picky. It gets better as he heals, but sometimes they'll ask everyone to use the other pronouns for them.
Dust: he/they. Less distancing than Killer, but still not always feeling like himself. Usually right after an episode or bad flare-up, or if he hurts someone he wasn't meaning to. He has a bit more self-worth than Killer, he's convinced he had no other choice for his world and has accepted that much, but Dust asking to not be what he used to is pretty common as well.
Horror: he/she. Never fully understood this vibe, but it's a common one I've felt with Horror. I suppose one can expect that, in the eight years that canonically have passed in his AU, that some self reevaluation has happened. This is true full circle of "trans the skeleton". After distancing himself from that side, Horror has gotten more comfortable with it and just...rolled with it. Everyone is supportive, if highly confused. It's certainly hilarious to walk into any shop and introduce Horror as the girlfriend(Killer in particular loves the reactions to seeing the giant fucking skeleton missing half a skull being referred to as such).
Nightmare: any/all. I've mentioned this in one of my stories, but I shall reiterate. Nightmare is a collector of many things. Books, artifacts, genders, everything. Sometimes literally, mostly figuratively. Quite literally finds a gender they like, adds it to their repertoire. This results in a process similar to Lust, multiple people using different pronouns for Nightmare. The confusion and often subsequent frustration is a great little snack before he makes a world suffer.
I don't always implement each of my headcanons into stories, this is just my general thing that I follow in my head. Some are a bit harder to translate onto paper, to me, and other times they just don't fit with the story setting so I default.
More to come eventually! May switch to sexuality headcanons after this, my memory is failing me in terms of other Sanses...
