Perverts as it happened
It is 11:45pm on January 7th in the San Fernando Valley. I robed myself in a thick peacoat to weather the wind whipped rooftop of my apartment to listen to this album for the first time. Wine glass in hand and fresh topped off with a pull from my pen, I ascended the stairs in eerie muted sterile lights receding behind me. I glance down at the dead cockroach that had sat on the fifth or sixth step for the last half year as I make my way to the heavy latch that kept the poorly fit door from swinging open. As I listened to the opening lines of “Nearer My God To Thee” sung as though through an old phonograph I held the door tight as it pulled itself open catching the wind. I stood at the top of the stairs holding the door open with my back as the dry gusts carrying a faint acrid scent pushed the heavy gate against me. I had no idea what awaited us the following morning.
In the moment I stood in shock. The hymnal ended and I was stood alone in the dark with nothing in my ears. And then, it started. I had expected something different. I had expected something dark but big and emotional. It was dark; yes, but it was muted and eerie. Unsure of my own mental state as my stomach churned the wine I had already consumed I stood stuck still as I heard… noises. A garbled voice saying something about a ‘masturbator’, a low hum as though the power lines next to my building was singing. I was terrified. The world seemed to lose all color. All I could see was the light painting itself across the buildings around me and the trees distorting that light as the gale threatened to rip the branches off. It was too much. It was happening to me, as It’s happening to everybody. I turned and went back down to my room. Disrobing myself and swaddling into the sheets of my bed I let the haunted sounds sing to my subconscious as the winds of destruction and the hum of Perverts played my lullaby to dreamless sleep.
It’s happening to me.
It’s happening to everybody.
Do you feel “famous” ?
i feel like shit
y’all…..
Liberals be like “Biden wouldn’t be doing all of this to protesters!”
Damn y’all forgot about Ferguson and the beginnings of the BLM movement real quick lmaoo.
Didn't Biden literally just say he'd prosecute anarchists just for being anarchists?
And before the Feds came in, wasn't guardsmen and cops under the orders of Democratic governors and mayors attacking protestors, medics, observers, and the media?
obama had dhs draw up plans for crushing occupy and his fbi had snipers surveying the protests, i don’t ever want to hear shit about dems being better.
Since learning about some of the details behind Breonna Taylor’s late-night murder by pigs, it’s important to remember that “plain-clothes officer” is an American euphemism for secret police.

I was high off my ass last night and had this dream where I was in this dense ass forest and sitting there was a tall woman. She was so tall I couldn’t see her face but she was wearing gold and I was like “uh…hi?” And she said “I made you, do you know that?” And I nodded and she was like “I hear your thoughts. Why do you hate my creation? Why do you try to destroy yourself? I made you perfect as you are. Please don’t break my heart”. Then she started crying and it flooded and I woke up with fucking heart palpitations like what does it Mean™️????
polar opposite of this post
inspiration struck and would not let me go until i drew this
This is really beautiful!!!
Oh fuck
How much longer until the utopic Solarpunk future where Capitalism is dead and we all live in ecologically sustainable high-tech forest cities? Asking for a friend.
Until we make those ecologically sustainable high-tech forest cities ourselves. It’s going to take a lot of us to do it though, so best to spread the word (and gather native tree seeds).
And, like, get started now. Then our “weirdo houses” will be the only thing functioning when everything falls apart!
The only reason why we don’t live in a solarpunk world right now is because no one has bothered to make it yet.
We’ll have to make it ourselves, and we’ll have to help each other make it. That’s why it is solarpunk.
