'Tall Story' single stem
lunch time
single sparagus
what garden jobs did you do today?
'Tall Story'
Bag potatoes are growing, probably need to add soil today.
oksooo... i did the whole adding soil every other week with potatoes before and i got LESS potatoes than what i grew. has anyone else actually had luck with doing this with their potatoes??
I'm doing this in a big pot at the moment, probably about a month or 6 weeks to harvest, but have just reached the top with soil. We shall see!
okay so we've got flowers
I dug down around the base and about halfway down there was the teeniest tuber starting to form so this will be a harvest when foliage dies back situation
'Siluetta Sunny'
'Zara'
it is very pretty
I don't think this one's going to be yellow lads
'Vanessa Bell' first to bloom
Ok, who wants to suggest zone 4 or 5 perennial vegetables? Including things like "you can take out half the tubers every year and leave the other half of them in the ground to multiply next year" like Groundnut.
I can't be fucking around with annuals. I have loads and loads of perennial fruit, but want to toy with vegetables.
daylily
this lavender spent a year in a carrier bag with very little soil now look at it
rudbeckia 'green wizard' I thought I'd killed
