Woah, people read my tags! I personally headcanon Franco with partial androgen insensitivity syndrome, since I don’t want to just leave it vaguely at intersex; I could, but I’d rather not. This headcanon was actually brought to me by my irl friend with PAIS, so I just wanted to toss him some credit (he’s not on Tumblr, but he doesn’t have any issue with me talking about it). Franco was assigned male at birth, given his (underdeveloped) male genitalia. He has a micropenis, gynecomastia, hypospadias (underside), sparse body hair, feminine silhouette (widened hips and thighs in particular), higher than average male voice, and reduced muscle mass, among other less noticeable things; he also can’t really grow facial hair. Puberty wasn’t a great time for him, obviously; this really didn’t help with his father not viewing him as a proper man. He definitely wasn’t diagnosed given the time period, even now it can be difficult to get a diagnosis, but people knew something was different about him. I always had a headcanon about Franco being intersex, but I wasn’t sure which type specifically I wanted to identify him with, and then my friend suggested PAIS, and I actually really liked that idea.
Anyway, you probably don’t care about all of that, but it’s important to my friend, so it’s important to me! I can do that, yes, even if it may be a shorter one! Did you have a specific point in his life (childhood, teen years, adulthood, Murkoff, etc.) in mind? Or any specific event(s) you were wanting?
