Body Dismorfic Disorder. As personal as it gets

Yesterday I was watching a video of some guys an psychologist lady talking about BDD. Well, she tried to force her opinion on guys that they have BDD because they have heck a lot of plastic surgery done on them. And guys opinion was that it is their body and what they have done with their bodies makes them happy and they do not have BDD. And she said that most people with BDD says that they do not have BDD.

This reminded me of myself some 10 years ago.I changed school and got new classmates. I remember how badly I was bullied in school. One day during the break just before our next class I was standing on top of stairs next to class door, and one guy was standing behind my back. I did not saw him but he was trying to kick me in the back of my head and one girl said to me ''Watch out!''.  I reached the point where i got depressed and stayed home for almost 9 months because I was afraid that when I will return back to school I will have to endure the same shit from my classmates all over again. After all these years I still have insecurities about my body...I haven't gotten rid of them. There are days I hate to look at myself in the mirror. And it is really hard to talk about it. Even if it looks that everything is fine with me. it is not. I have several self esteem issues. I have problems with talking in front of audience. I tend to speak fast just to be done with it.

Currently I am saving money to do a plastic surgery and finally be happy with my body. I love myself, I respect my body but I also have basic human rights to be happy. To be able to wake up in the morning and smile at myself in the mirror.

Not all people who want to change something in their appearance have BDD. No need to push your opinion on somebody. Everyone has rights to be happy with their bodies and lives!

Summer sucks!

Oh, please do not get me wrong...I like summer...I just do not like heat..and it is hot! Really HOT. So hot, that I cannot wear my corset, if I cannot wear my corset, my back kills me and I must take painkillers just to be able to do my everyday chores. Since I started to wear corsets on a daily basis my back pain seemed to lessen at first and then it was gone completely. Needless to say I was happy...but now it is way too hot for corset wearing, my back is in pain and I am mad as hell!

It would call out historical movies with bad costumes, and probably also bad halloween costumes, and maybe pictures from renfaires? And “corsets,” and most commercial costume patterns

Some humans are disgusting!

A very good friend was throwing a house warming party. As usual I was wearing a corset. This one:

 When I went out to have a smoke (nasty habit, I know, but I am a Drink/smoke person. Or in stress situations smoker), one girl behind my back said: People in corsets are disgusting and look sick! They seek for attention and have no brains!

I turned around, looked at her and smiled: Well my dear, I on the contrary admire your guts, wearing leggings that when you bend exposes your ass and your underwear. And if you do not have guts to confront me looking straight in my eyes and stand behind your words then keep silent. I do not seek for attention. I do what i please! It is in your nature to stare and be ignorant. I got rid of this ugly trait long ago. And for my IQ level...I have a Bachelors degree in history, I speak 6 languages, run a farm, I am a beekeeper, corset maker, soap maker (my etsy shop will open soon! Shameless spam!), and a writer! And most of all I consider you uneducated, rude and with bad taste!

She just stood there completely stunned, all guests watched us in silence. That was actually uncomfortable... And I started to think I ruined my best friends housewarming party. I turned around and walked outside to finally got a smoke and to restrain myself from sewing her piehole shut. My best friend came out, looked at me and said: She is stupid! And your corset is awesome!

 Gotta love true friends in your corner!

First I wanted to sell it, but when I made the final corset (with mock up), I realized that there is a problem...I had to take in on upper part of it 2cm on each side, because there was ugly loose part ( I don't know how to describe it, sorry). So most probably I am keeping the corset for myself...

Pwahahahahah...I laughed so hard...Corset diet?! To me it sounds something like > Eat one corset per week and you will lose weigh....
