CHARACTER GRAPHIC OO4 - FLORAL ABUNDANCE ! by galaxyrph

A pretty straight forward character graphic that can be used for any type of roleplay. In fact I plan on using this in Divinium as well as my new rp I’ve been working on! As a note - you should know how to use clipping masks if you decide to download this graphic. Other than that you are free to change out the images, tweak the adjustment layers and so on! 

Font used is Lato.

There is no background currently so that it is transparent. However, feel free to add a background layer with the color of your choosing, just be sure to put it at the bottom of the layers! 

Just a tip - make sure you write the first name by highlighting where it says Clara and then typing it in. Followed by highlighting Huang and typing in the last name. This’ll make sure the color and font styles stay intact!

Read this if you want to understand why I’m ranting below. 

I didn’t apply for beforeharryrp, but I have several friends who did and they screamed at me in excitement over it the past few days. So I’ve been following it and the fact that PEOPLE WOULD SEND SUCH HORRIBLE, MALICIOUS THINGS TO AN ADMIN AND PERSON WHO HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT SWEET AND KIND MAKES ME ANGRY.

THERE IS NO NEED FOR MESSAGES LIKE THAT. 

You all need to grow up. When you apply to a roleplay you will not always get accepted. And frankly with beforeharryrp, NIKKI SAID SHE WOULD ACCEPT YOU AS AN OC IF YOU DIDN’T GET YOUR CANON ROLE. (From what I understood about this acceptance process.) 

THIS IS JUST A ROLEPLAY. THIS IS JUST A HOBBY. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN. TO DO WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO NIKKI IS DISGUSTING AND VILE.

IF YOU DON’T GET ACCEPTED. APPLY AGAIN. TRY HARDER THAN YOU EVER HAVE. WATCH THE RP. SEE IF THE ROLE YOU WANTED OPENS BACK UP. 

BUT NEVER. EVER. SEND HATEFUL, VILE MESSAGES FOR BEING DENIED. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? 

Nikki as a fellow admin, I am so, so sorry this happened to you. I understand the stress you have been under and you did NOTHING to deserve what happened to you. NO ONE does. Daily writing tip

If you think you have writer’s block, you’ve probably just lost your momentum. Start writing anything, even if its terrible, and you’ll get your momentum back.

I love para only roleplays but I think policing the tag will be very hard though. After th afch tag was established, a bunch of people spammed it with a bunch of weird-ass pictures. But it sounds like a good idea!

I think that’s the case with any of the roleplay tags. They start out as good ideas and start out well - but I think no matter what there’s the chance that spamming could happen. I’m just going to stay hopeful and positive that the porpg tag won’t be spammed by anyone and that people will use it respectfully! (After all we still have plenty of rp tags that would work just fine for roleplays that aren’t para only.) 

Thinking negatively about it definitely won’t help it kick off - so I’m just going to try staying positive about it. :)

A new roleplay tag(?)

I propose the creation of a new roleplay tag: porpg. Which stands for Para Only Roleplay. 

Over the years of roleplaying on Tumblr - I have gone from roleplays of only one liners, to roleplays that had one liners and paras. And as of late, I’ve found myself craving role-plays that do not allow one liners to take place on the dash. I find myself craving the ability to develop my writing skills and grow them in an environment that encourages lengthier replies. 

I know that the para rp/rpg tags do exist, but I’ve been informed that those tags are for roleplays that include and encourage paras on their dashes - but are not exclusively a para only dash. And those roleplays that are exclusively para based get lost in the shuffle.

So, in light of this information I’ve decided to give this new roleplay tag a try. After all if we can get the tag LSRPG up and going I feel like perhaps we could get this tag up and going as well! 

The rules of the tag are simple. 

One liners are not accepted on the dash. 

Have a well thought out plot and well organized main. 

Require an application!

Encourage growing and developing the writing of your players in a healthy and accepting environment.

To be “considered” a para only roleplay (there is no ultimate guidebook on what everyone will consider to be a para roleplay), members would need to be required to at least write a “meaty” paragraph per reply. (Which in my opinion means 6-10 sentences.) 

So, this does not mean that every interaction on the dash needs to be novel lengths - sometimes a writer’s muse just isn’t feeling longer replies and that’s a-okay! One or two paragraph replies that are descent sized can still develop a character and grow writing. Gif paras are completely welcomed (and encouraged) as well! 

And that’s pretty much it! Please don’t be afraid to give me your thoughts on this idea. If you think it’s a terrible idea - well go ahead and tell me! (I may disagree but you’re entitled to your (respectfully delivered) opinion like everyone else!) 

I will begin to use this tag for my own roleplay Divinium - so please feel free to start using it as well. :)

                From designer shoes, to designer drugs, status is everything at The King University. Regardless of if you are offspring of the top two percent or an (eye-roll) scholarship kid, the expectations are immense. Some flourish under the pressure and some.. well, you can imagine. One thing is for certain though, these are the future leaders of the country, and they know it! The King University, an elite Ivy League College in Charleston South Carolina, has a clear hierarchy. The privileged (and those good at faking it) have all the power. It doesn’t seem fair, but then, when is life ever fair? Not that these filthy gorgeous socialites and future CEO’s are complaining, they have it all at their fingertips and aren’t afraid to indulge. It isn’t all exclusive parties and everything money can buy at king, though. Regardless of your status as a legacy with parent expectations to live up to, or a scholarship kid with something to prove, success isn’t optional- It’s mandatory.  

We are an active, semi-para based roleplay with lots of chances to get involved and really develop character. In addition to daily rebloggable ask memes, weekly events, and monthly writing prompts, we also have several opportunities to have fun ooc and make friends. Hi there. I wonder if you or your followers can help or offer advice? I'm in my 20s, and considering exploring NC17 (sexual) RP for the first time. I usually avoid it, but I'm now thinking as long as everyone involved is a consenting adult, what's the harm? My question is how can I know we're all consenting adults? It's skeevy as hell for me to be playing with someone under 18, given I'm in the back end of my 20s, and I don't want the legal implications of that happening accidentally. Pls help!

Hmm, what I would do first is find some mature roleplays that are interesting to you and then check their rules. I personally don’t know how mature/sexual roleplays work since I haven’t been in on before, but I imagine that they would indicate somewhere in their rules if it is an 18+ roleplay or not. 

However, if they don’t indicate somewhere in their RP that they’re 18+ you could always just ask the admins what the general age range is and explain why you would like to know. I doubt most admins would be upset with you for asking - especially for this reason. You could also scroll through the accepted applications tag in the roleplay and see what the ages are since most applications I see ask players to put their age. (Though, I’m sure people could lie about it to get into the roleplay.) 

That’s a tricky situation and I can definitely relate. Those are a few ideas you can try. However, of course players could always lie about their age. So, if it comes to it and you think they might not be over 18, I would just ask that player how old they are. And if you think they’re lying and still feel uncomfortable with writing sexual situations with them, then kindly let them know why and don’t start a para with them. It may upset the player, but that could always be a last resort kind of thing. 

I hope some of these tips can help you out. And if my followers want to chip in that’d be great to get some other perspectives and ideas. Perhaps even from roleplayers who have been in these types of roleplays before would be great!
