Theme: Undead-slaying campaign

BBEG: Necromancer Vampire Dirge Bard

Personality: THEY ARE THE MOST AUDACIOUS AND POMPOUS GLAM-METAL ROCKSTAR YOU HAVE EVER SEEN!

Minions: Banshee groupies, skeleton bouncers, zombie roadies, ravener red dragon doing the pyrotechnics.

Side Notes: Travels in a black iron carriage that is pulled by zombified Sleipnir. Attacks happen in the form of turning the target area (village, town, etc.) into their impromptu stage, then having all the victims be moshed to death. Afterwhich they proceed to reanimate the choicest leftovers.

End Goal: Unite the entire world in glorious undying rock and roll!

Never Open the Ancient Mysterious Sealed Urn Alone!

So I am running a Pathfinder game with a party of 5 at the moment. 

One of the PCs is Lyla Christopherson, a kitsune sorcerer with the phoenix bloodline.

Well, during the party’s most recent dungeon crawl, they acquired a mysterious sealed urn that is centuries old. Later on, as the party was split up doing various things, Lyla decided to open the urn while alone in their penthouse. She did this under the impression that it was a genie... Oh was she wrong.

Inside this jar was an Archwizard’s Shackle with seven levels in wizard. Several spells and will saves later, both Lyla and the Shackle came to a mutual agreement where the Shackle would provide some magical support in exchange for Lyla feeding it some of her magic and helping it find whatever it is supposed to find (it has no idea what it is, but knows it has to find SOMETHING).  This encounter was one slightly lower Will save away from our sorcerer being dominating and wandering off.

D&D Thought: If your players want to interrupt the BBEG's dramatic monologue, make them roll a Will save to overcome intimidation before they can. Each player gets one save, and if they all fail, they can do nothing until the end of the monologue.

I am relatively new to Stellaris, have had it for a week. I was spitballing random empire ideas with a coworker when I came up with this beauty. Say hello to Farmer Joe-Bob, the Hive Mind empire that is controlled entirely by the consciousness of an idiot farmer who was devoured by said empire. Now that his mind pilots the empire's actions, not only do they refer to themselves entirely by Farmer Joe-Bob, they have set out to accomplish one thing... BRINGIN' IN A GOOD DAMN HARVEST!!!!!!!! YEE-HAW, SPACE COWBOYS!!!! ... Thank you for your time.

The Gun Tank, greatest discovery in Monster Hunter since honey!

Gone are the days of the Guard Lance! A new era has come… The Era of the Gun Tank!!!! For those who are unaware, if you apply the Shield modification to a Heavy Bowgun three times in Monster Hunter World, it will give your HBG a shield as strong as a lance’s that blocks attacks simply by looking at the monster when attacked. This shield’s strength is further increased by the Guard and Guard Up skills. I am currently running a full Uragaan Alpha set with the Anjanath HBG, and I was capable of solo gunning Deviljho with almost no damage taken. The Gun Tank is here!

Complex Character Build

Dark Souls 3 is such an amazing an complex game. You have to determine your build from the start, balance your stats to reach the max damage output and defense, cycle between weapons and magic, time parries perfectly........... OR just do what I did this play through. Dump everything into Strength, pick up a Great Club, and beat the living hell out of everything in your way. The best defense is to squash the enemy before it can hit you. Praise the Stick!

Planeswalker Shorts: Liliana run’s a daycare center.

Liliana: “Jace I need you to fill out some forms for me.” Jace: “What forms and why?” Liliana: “Well I want to run a business, and well the Azorious are pretty strict on that.” *Enter Gideon*  Gideon: “I never took you for one to do things the legal way.” Liliana: “I don’t do things for free, and I rather not have to kill every single Azorious guard.” Jace: “That would be rather messy. So sure, I’ll fill out the paper work.” Gideon: “By the way. What is the business?” Liliana: “A daycare center for all the children on Ravnica~” Jace: *Sighing* “What even qualifies you to take care of children?” Liliana: “Well I do watch over four rather bratty children.” Gideon: “Liliana, you’re only slightly older than us.” Jace: “Couple hundred.” Gideon: “What?” Jace “She’s a couple of hundred years older than us.”

Liliana: “So as you see, I can safely say I’m good at taking care of children.” Jace: “No, no it doesn’t” Liliana: “ FIne, I give up. You win.” Gideon: “Well thank you for being reasonable.” *Liliana begins to exit* Liliana: “I’m taking Chandra and Nissa. If I can’t open a daycare, I’ll open a brothel in the center of Rakdos.” Jace & Gideon in unison: “Liliana no!” Liliana: “Liliana yes!”

A beginner's combo?

So I found out last night that someone at Wizards that it would be a good idea to put an infinite +1/+1 counter combo in the new Breed Lethality commander deck. Enduring Scalelord + any ability that generates a +1/+1 counter + Mirrorweave. Just have Scalelord on board, trigger the ability, and cast Mirrorweave in response to the ability. All creatures become Scalelords, and all your Scalelords get as many +1/+1 counters as you want. This happens because one the ability resolves, it triggers all the other Scalelords, which trigger each other again and again until you are ready to bash in. Dirty move, Wizards. Dirty move.

Desperate need to play!!!!!!!!!

If anyone has a Pathfinder campaign going on that one could join via skype, and is willing to let a random RPG enthusiast join in, I WOULD LOVE TO JOIN!!!! I have a lot of experience with the game and understand most of its mechanics in great detail. I know a lot about almost every class and race, and I'm down to roll up anything (minus gunslingers and wizard. Just don't care for those two.) I promise to be courteous and respectful. So if anyone is willing to let me to join, or knows anyone who would be, I would be INCREDIBLY grateful! Thank you.

So at walmart, I grabbed a random pack. After thinking for a moment, I put it back and grabbed one with Liliana on it. After walking off, I came back and put it back. I then dug deep to the back of the packs, grabbed one with Liliana on the packaging. Upon opening I saw the pack itself also had Liliana on it. I jokingly said "This is the one. This has my Lili." I opened it and went straight to the back. BOOM! I was so surprised I almost didn't believe it. It was the best OCD magic moment ever! So satisfying. Just thought I would share this.

I’m not a huge fan of XX costs, but it becomes a lot more palatable if you view this not as a token generator but as a cheap kill spell for zombie decks with a mana sink attached to it.
