Over four years ago I made everything below this post (along with other items no longer in my possession like a few more wands and a couple wreaths, so I can't get photos of them unfortunately) on my page. I started a job that I initially loved, but it took so much of my energy, patience, happiness, I had no motivation to create anymore. I left that job this year because my mental health had significantly declined due to the poor management putting their duties on my shoulders, not having time or energy for an outlet outside of work, and my physical health was being greatly affected. Since I left I have gone on nature adventures, adopted a dog, and I have found new excitement for creating again and can't wait to make mistakes and experiment with new techniques. One thing I've learned is to put my mental health above all else, because I don't feel like I'm living if I'm not having some kind of adventure, big or small... I've also learned to do small design tests before going all in.
Piece I'm holding up is crayon shavings in hot glue. The green piece is moss in hot glue. Then there's the glitter in hot glue, painted with metallic rainbow-ish (mainly purple but reflects other colors) nail polish.
