mans touch starved asf. literally confirmed by Bryan himself, he's only ever felt negative touch. only ever been pushed, shoved, hit. except by Hank. well, hank's done it a few times, but he's hugged Connor way more. especially post canon. he'll hug you like he's known you for years even if you've only been friends for a couple weeks. once deviated, he wants to feel EVERYTHING. not like in a weird way, just wants to feel every texture, wood, metal, sharp, soft, fuzzy, wet, dry, everything. definitely loves fluffy blankets. hank bought him a bunch when he moved in.
speaking of that, he moved in with hank. into cole's old room. it took some courage for Hank to open that door again, after nearly three years, all of cole's old stuff was in boxes. Connor kept some of it. convinced Hank to donate some of the clothes and put the rest of the stuff in the living room. and hank sighs every time he walks by the first few times. but he gets used to it. it's all worth it to get to see connor in the kitchen. waiting for him.
his favorite color is...surprisingly not blue. its purple. don't get me wrong, he loves blue (who doesn't) but eventually he gets led lights for his room and leaves it on purple while he sleeps.
and on the topic of sleeping, he doesn't exactly need to. but he likes to. he just shuts himself down. he likes to be able to stop feeling. just for a little while.
his favorite place is the aquarium. hank's taken him to many places, the zoo, the museum, the theatre, but connor's always loved the aquarium the best. it's so peaceful. he absolutely LOVES jellyfish and dolphins and whales. I feel like he likes seals too. definitely loves the touch tanks, Hank's not the biggest fan of slimy things but pushed himself out of his comfort zone because Connor wanted him to. but he also loves just standing in the dark rooms while sharks swim around in the tanks that look like the void. (creepy asf imo). but seriously, he could sit in there for hours.
in addition to that, buys like a bajillion dollars worth of merch from the gift shop. has like 10 plushies of different sea animals. and a squid hat. and a seal snow globe (tlou reference????). and Hank is super annoyed but like...you adopted this guy. get him the shit he wants.
he also LOVES the beach. loves the feeling of the sand, the cold water. he loves going there in the early morning when its just him and sumo and hank, but loves the daytime even more because. DOGS. he loves meeting strangers dogs. every dog breed. he loves.
i also feel like he makes Hank swim with him in the ocean even though Hank doesn't like the feeling of shells and crabs and whatever the hellie else is under there. so Connor suggested bringing a donut floatie. and it worked. until Hank drifted away. and was mad at Connor when he had to swim back. but it was all okay. because. puppy eyes. or whatever.
definitely offers to walk the neighbors dogs. ALL OF THEM. and he doesn't even do it for money. even though Hank wants him to because like. money. but anyway. yeah, all the dogs love him. he's so nice to them. and they either come back really messy and covered in mud or spotless.
LOOOVES skateboarding. he started doing it just to fit in with the other deviants, a way to find some friends, ended up catching north's attention when he kept failing skating tricks. badly. and she and Simon laughed and offered to help. ended up forming the friend group of all time. sometimes josh and markus tag along at the skatepark.
he also plays guitar. started wanting to when he was listening to rock music with Hank in the car (very advanced electric guitar) and brought it up around Hank who chuckled and told him he should probably start with acoustic. lucky for him, Hank had one. hadn't played in a while, you could tell by how out of tune it was, but he taught Connor the basics and he started learning. once he started he was, like, super into it. he could be in his room for hours just learning riffs on YouTube. and he goes to show hank and they're...not that good at first, but of course Hank just goes along with it. and Connor gets better. and eventually buys an electric for himself.
thinks otters are SO cute. he's a sucker for little animals like that. even though he knows ones he sees outside the house like foxes abd cats and stuff are probably rabid. or diseased. he loves little furry creatures.
always and I mean ALWAYS has a pack of gum on him. if you're at the station and you want gum, he's your guy. has like a million boxes of it just sitting in his closet. and he's fine with anything but mint is his go to. Hank will buy a different flavour because it was all they had and Connor has to convince him he's fine with it because he is. he just LOVES mint.
super sassy. while also somehow being a people pleaser. like he's a super nice guy but if he doesn't like you? oh boy. he will roll his eyes at you and mutter shit about you under his breath any chance he gets.
he LOVES cozy things. hoodies, blankets, socks, beanies, you name it, he has it. always brings a beanie to work just in case it's cold, has a hoodie slung over the back of his chair in his bedroom, slippers by his bed. so cute.
super good with tech stuff. just fixing things in general. don't know the wifi password? he can tell you. your laptops got a virus? he knows how to get rid of it. your watch isn't ticking? he's got a pack of tiny tools in his desk drawer.
loves death metal. you think he'd be listening to something quiet, relaxing, something he can use to focus while he's reading case files? nope. watain. actual screaming in his ears. you can hear it through his headphones. and he has the straightest face ever while he listens to it. thanks, hank.
he likes- no, LOVES when people say his name. only if it's nice, though. like if he's sitting at his desk and he hears Hank use his name in conversation, the first few times he'll be a little worried, like "shit, did I do something wrong? is he mad at me?", and once he realizes people actually like him, he starts to warm up to it. just smiles a little to himself when he hears it. maybe blushes a little. loves attention.
since he can't have hot chocolate, Hank will find him a thirium based recipe, probably call kamski or something, make it for Connor, and now it's all the guy drinks. he loves it. also eats thirium ice cream and stuff.
