Vegan Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream / Recipe
Reducing and Reusing are actually better for the environment than recycling.
what’s your opinion on vegan dog food? I’m interested in buying v-dog for my pooch because most of homemade vegan dog food sounds like it wouldn’t be as nutritionally balanced
Hi! i am so sorry this took months, i only just noticed the ask. honestly i dont really know much about dog nutrition, ive never owned a dog (i have rats tho!), and i dont want to give you the wrong advice. maybe its best if you ask other vegans who own dogs what they do (but not crazy ones pls, the welfare of your dog is important), or visit websites and see what they say.
sorry i couldnt be much help, best of luck xx

Nestle’s net worth as of today is 10.46 BILLION dollars.
The largest, most prosperous of these slave-free chocolate companies (Vosges, which is also a female-owned corp if that matters to you!) is worth… $100 million.
That means that Nestle has $10,360,000,000 more dollars with which to pay its employees, INCLUDING AND ESPECIALLY the cacao farmers who are the backbone of their entire industry.
If all of these companies worth LITERAL BILLIONS OF DOLLARS less than Nestle can afford to be slave-free, so can fucking Nestle.
In case anyone is wondering where to find these: I don’t know most of them but Iknow for a fact that Tony’s chocolate can be found at REI
Vegan version of my first and moste ancient Ghibli inspired soups.
Heat 3 tbsp olive oil or your preferred cooking oil in a large soup pot. Chop three celery stalks, 1.5 sweet onions, 6 smallish carrots (you can adjust amounts of veggies to your preferences) and sauté for around five minutes or so on medium heat stirring occasionally until the onions start to become a little translucent. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic, stir and cook two minutes. Add around 3 cups chopped red potatoes (I really never measure, just use what you’re feeling, I’m estimating I threw about 3 cups in) and cook stirring occasionally 5-7 minutes.
Add 3 tbsp flour, just enough to evenly coat the vegetables and potatoes, cook for another minute stirring it well.
Add six cups vegan ‘chicken’ broth or vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
Once it’s boiling throw in half a pound of gnocci, cook two minutes or until the gnocci start floating to the surface.
Add 1.5 cups unsweetened coconutmilk soup base and one can of corn.
Season with 1 tablespoon dried basil (or more if you like, I tend to go crazy with the basil), 2 bay leaves, a TON of black pepper, and quite a bit of salt because, potatoes.
Turn heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
It’s even better the next day!

vegans who refuse to even eat backyard eggs….why
If you're so concerned you can shove an egg down a vegan's throat to solve this very important issue x
I agree the problem is capitalism but this is such a pointless tweet imo
We might as well give up on gun control, people will kill anyway
We should go back to using plastic straws, turtles will die anyway
We shouldn’t bother planting trees, humans will go extinct anyway
I get that the point of this is that it isn’t individuals fault , but try not to attack people who are trying. Even if you think all they’re doing is making themselves feel better lmao
And if you come at me saying this isn’t anti-veganism then alright ok
Tofu "sausage" for pizza
Just remembered I was supposed to share this recipe.
I remembered because I'm making it again.
What you'll need:
A mixing bowl, a spoon, a sheet pan, a spatula, an oven, oil
Ingredients:
Extra firm tofu
Italian seasoning blend
Ground sage
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Ground black pepper
A dash of cayenne if you're into that
Preheat the oven to 400F
Drain the tofu and drop the whole block in the mixing bowl
Add spices. I used about 4 tablespoons of the Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon of sage, a tablespoon each garlic and onion powders, a teaspoon of pepper, and maaaybe half a teaspoon of cayenne for 2 blocks of tofu
Mix it all up until the spices are nicely distributed through the tofu. We're not going for paste, some clumps are fine
Oil the sheet pan and spread the tofu on it. I used tin foil to make cleanup easier, but it's optional.
Put the tofu in the oven. Every 10 minutes or so, open the door and push the tofu around. This dehydrates it evenly and helps get the crumbly texture you want for incorporation into whatever recipe you're using it in
When the tofu is evenly browned, you're done
If you add it to a sauce, it will absorb liquid and change texture, but it should stay flavorful and delicious
The crispy bits are the best
Delicious end result
Life is good. Vegetarian "sausage" pizza
⭐DID YOU KNOW ⭐ that if you live in Europe, North America, China, or other highly polluting countries you can’t completely absolve yourself of all guilt in the climate crisis just because the majority of it is controlled by capitalists? Yes, the problem is scaffolded by capitalism, but it’s going to continue to be if you sit back and watch it happen with your hamburger.
Stand up and do something about your privilege before you complain about having your choices taken away from you. Realize that from your standpoint you are causing harm to people who didn’t cause global warming. IMO we should all be doing WHATEVER we can; even if it doesn’t seem big.
Butternut Squash Vegan Mac & Cheese
Being aware of abusive breeding practices is good but we also need to be conscientious that weird doesn’t automatically = abusive. If you ever find yourself typing out a comment about an animal that you have exactly 0 knowledge about or experience around just because you “think it might be abusive” and feel like getting some internet outrage points plz take two minutes to research.
Your uninformed opinions directly contribute to furthering ARA nonsense which has real life consequences. Don’t be that asshole.
this is great point!
baffling and (subjectively) ugly anatomy doesn’t equal abuse. Oriental Shorthairs, Bull Terriers, and English Pouters all look bizarre, but nothing about their bodies inherently hurts them.
meanwhile, sweet-looking Scottish Folds suffer crippling cartilage damage, beautiful rose-tailed bettas bite off their own fins, and well……we all know about brachycephalic dogs at this point.
cute/normalized doesn’t = healthy, and ugly/strange doesn’t = unhealthy. rather than make assumptions, definitely put in the time to research the animal in question!
