idk what shit-eating truscum needs to hear this, but your rhetoric directly harms people with culturally-specific genders. i’m native and two-spirit, that label describes my gender and my attraction. i use they/them pronouns and your “nonbinaries and cringey stargender trenders aren’t valid” bullshit is getting old. our languages were demonized and erased, our gender and attraction labels along with them. my experiences with dysphoria exist because of colonialist ideas of gender. we have been forced into arbitrary ‘male’ and ‘female’ categories by colonizers for centuries and truscum rhetoric perpetuates racist colonialist violence against natives.

your experiences are not universal, you’re not forwarding justice for trans people, and you’re definitely not an ally to natives or other people of color. you’re just a fucking colonizer.

Honestly, same with stuff like orientation microlabels and aspec people. 'It makes our community look bad!' Actually think about that phrase, though. If any deviation away from the most mainstream LGBT expressions (and I definitely mean LGBT, not queer in this case) is going to get you punished by the cishets, why do you still want to lick their boots? If the restrictions are that narrow, why do you want in so badly? They don't want you anyways.

It just baffles me that some people in the community will respect a few queer identities but draw an arbitrary line between which ones are valid and which ones are cringy kids wanting attention. How do you rationalise where that line gets drawn? What makes bisexuality real but pansexuality or polysexuality not?

In the grand scheme of things, the labels you consider the only valid ones are very new. The language around sexual and gender identity has always been changing. There is no objective reason why LGBT is acceptable and rational but anything beyond that is ridiculous. It's only because that's where you drew the line and that's where you chose to alienate people who face similar challenges and share similar experiences in favour of a societal norm that doesn't have room for you no matter how hard you squeeze.
