I’m watching episode 19 right now. And here’s the thing:

I haven’t watched most of the season 😂. I’ve only watched episode 8, 11, and 13.

So as you probably think, I am a bit lost as to what is happening but, here’s what I have to say:

1. Kara is being a b*tch and needs to stop. Like for real. She needs to stop. She betrayed Lena, because every time she hurt Lena as supergirl, but supported her as Kara, she now knows they were one in the same and probably doesn’t know who to believe.

2. I’m so pissed off that Lena is the one apologizing for how she dealt with her emotions.

3. I’m glad they are on tentative terms again. I missed my babies. 🥺

Support Creatives

Readers aren't required to leave comments on fics or even reblog the links for them on tumblr, but I tell ya it's very discouraging for writers when they don't.

Like, some of us spend hours upon hours putting our hearts into fics. Not just for ourselves, but to bring joy and entertainment to others as well. So when we get no feedback or boosting support, it kinda hurts, a lot for some of us. Cuz this might be all we have that's a positive experience for us.

I don't know, maybe I'm just rambling and it doesn't matter. But in all honestly stuff like this is why I don't really feel motivated to write.

Because in my head all I hear is "people are barely gonna read this", "no one's gonna really comment on this", "don't take any risks because you know no one's gonna give it a chance", or "why are you wasting 12 hours on something barely anyone is going to care about?".

At least that's my position anyway. It's easy to tell people to "keep writing because you love it", but that's not enough sometimes.

Anyway, support your writers, your artists, your creators. If you want to see more content from them or make them feel valued, then support them. Leave a comment, even if it's not a long/detailed one. Reblog their posts so more people can see it. Or even leave them anons on their tumblr blogs talking about their work, show them that you're interested in their talents.

Remind them that what they do is important, because it is.

To be honest, I just think that if someone liked them or expressed enthusiasm, I would be like “at least I’ve made this person happy” or that “at least I’ve gotten better at writing or building the story.” But yes, all the support a reader could give would be really great.

I wholeheartedly agree. I’m very self conscious with my writing, and it’s hard for me to post especially after I stress over stuff like ‘will they like this’ and stuff like that. So it is always amazing when someone comments something as simple as ‘loved this chapter! Can’t wait for more!’ It encourages me and makes me feel like I should continue writing. ESPECIALLY when it is a fic I want to work on.
