I have had plenty of friendships come and go in my life, but since I was very young I always envied those older adults with best friends of multiple decades. Friendships that didn’t fizzle out with a graduation, a move, a change in lifestyle and geography that might not stand the test of time. I looked at the people I loved whose best friends had seen them through every phase of life and dreamed that one day I could have that too. That person I would always rely on no matter how much our lives changed, who I would choose again and again. When @frostcorpsclub slid into my DeviantArt comment section on June 17th, 2016, I did not know yet that that person had come into my life. Now, I have never been so sure.

Glam, words cannot fully capture how lucky I feel to have you in my life. The sappy essays I write for every birthday only scratch the surface. We have changed so much since we first met, and those looking from the outside may say we were barely recognizable. You say you were cringe and young but you made me both laugh my ass off and open my eyes to new perspectives all the time just as you still do today. If I could go back I would do it all again in a heartbeat. We have seen each other through so many phases in life, from our many different creative projects to real-life graduations and new homes. We’ve expanded our fandom interests so much but that hardly even matters because we are still each other’s person through it all. You’ve been my biggest cheerleader and I only hope I’ve been the same for you. I am so proud of how much we’ve grown together and I can’t wait to see where we are when we celebrate our 20th anniversary.

Ten years ago today I gave you a piece of, probably unsolicited, advice and we've been inseperable ever since. I truly do believe we've been friends and have been in every lifetime, someone like me will always need someone like you. We've been together through the lowest lows of embarassing middle school drama we thought would be the end of the world and the highest highs of...well life right now is pretty good but I think we can do even better, we will, together. Prince Noxious / Prince Ambrosia Wine

This idea was from a series of art trades. I had to scrap because of burnout at the time, but I got so attached to this idea. I thought I would return to my roots and draw it

Born from a world where Chrysalis took on the form of the less powerful of the couple and was never discovered, Noxious is as fake and corrosive as the union that created him. He considers himself the alpha changeling and for all intents and purposes he is. Noxious’ changeling disguise has a special magical effect because of his half love alicorns heritage, it causes ponies to practically throw themselves at his hooves to please him. Whether romantic or platonic in nature. He is considered fantastically beautiful. Despite this coming so easy to him he still puts effort in to his role, both to upkeep his reputation and to impress Chrysalis whose approval he thrives on. His moral compass points entirely towards himself and there is nothing he won’t do, beyond the realms of cruelty Equestria has ever seen. Noxious is aware that Cadence is under a spell but this is the only version of her that he knows and loves, and he does have a soft spot for his mommy. When Mother’s plans inevitably succeed, he will see to it personally that she is treated with the upmost respect.

I'm not really into MLP these days, so I could be wrong.

It's just that a while ago, while studying the biographies of all the alicorns featured, I got the idea that each of the three pony races, upon becoming an alicorn, has its own distinctive appearance, indicating their original origin.
