I need a moment.

Im trying to move out and get my own life and my partner (ex-ish) is guilting me. They’re constantly holding their monetary concerns over my head, and telling me “well I guess I’ll go live in my car, I guess I’ll be homeless.” I have expressed that i wouldn’t do that to them if the shoe was on the other foot. I’ve tried to be as respectful of their feelings as possible in hopes I might get some of that back.

I know I’m being guilted. I don’t want to be responsible for hurting someone I care about, but it’s impossible to come out of a break up completely clean and unhurt. I don’t know what else to do other than just throw in the towel emotionally and just shut down. If they want to torture me mentally like that, full brain shutdown. I won’t let you inside my head.

I’m not allowed to have my own mind anymore because you won’t get out.
