anyway just gonna say this so people know
fuck nazis, conservatives, and just anyone from the right. I do not support you. I do not agree with you. my blog is not a safe space for you.
watching an increasing number of teen girls become vegetarians/vegans while living at the school i work at, iâve become concerned about how the vegetarian/vegan activism seems specifically designed to target women. it is firstly a rhetoric of guilt, and women are socialized our whole lives to feel guilt and to take on burdens, to bear responsibility and become martyrs for others. vegan/vegetarian activism plays right into this: women are perfectly primed to feel guilt about consuming animals, and to feel like they are properly prostrating themselves by resisting meat
secondly, that women are socialized to view eating as an indulgence and their bodies as something that must be denied, made smaller, minimized. disordered eating is so common in women as to be almost universal, and girls who already try to go as long as possible without eating, to eat as little as possible when they do, are going to be especially susceptible to the vegan/vegetarian rhetoric that says eating meat is an indulgence, that eating meat is selfish and not something the body really needsâexactly what women already think about foodâthat it isnât something they really need, that their body wants these things and if they are strong, they will deny it.
the school does not have good vegetarian options (and of course, precious few things for vegans) and they still choose to become vegetarian/vegan in the middle of term, knowing this. they choose because they already wish to eat less, they say itâs about âgetting healthyâ or because âthe foodâs so bad anywayâs so what difference does it make.â they choose because it feels good to be validated in what youâve always suspectedâthat your body doesnât deserve to feel full, that youâd be happier if you had more willpower, that your body is wrong and if only you could finally make this change, youâd be worthy.
these girlsâ health is at stake. i see lots of radfem proselytizing about veganism/vegetarianism, and very little discourse about how veganism can harm girlsâ health, exactly during a time in life when their body needs adequate nutrition the most. yes, yes, youâll say veganism can be healthy if you do it properly. but the majority of people donât have the time/money/resources to do it properly. these girls eating nothing but white rice for dinner are not doing it properly. but the vegan activist still congratulates them on their moral superiority, and says well, at least no animals had to die.Â
women are more important than animals. womenâs health is more important than animals. how many teen girls using veganism as an excuse to punish their bodies does it take before weâre allowed to admit that.Â
Youâre right and you should say it! When I was in treatment for anorexia as a teen, veganism was not permitted in program for very good reasons. I tried to go vegan when I had my disorder, though I hated it and gave up quickly. What few things I willingly ate back then were far from vegan and I was beyond miserable without them. My nutritionist and psychologist told me explicitly how veganism is used as an excuse to restrict.
Itâs been many years and I am a vastly different person in a vastly different situation who could not starve myself if my life depended on it, thankfully. But despite knowing with 100% certainty that the person I am now could never relapse, I will NEVER risk attempting veganism again. Itâs dangerous for so many women and girls. I have underlying health issues that were already exacerbated by my anorexic past, and as such, the needs of my body do not match up well with a vegan lifestyle. These health conditions exist almost exclusively in women. It can also be a very slippery slope into disorder and restriction for many. And as OP said, it reinforces the femsoc mindset surrounding guilt and food and waste.
And I despise having to âjustifyâ my refusal to go vegan to so many people all the time. Let me live.
âWah! The jd trial was supposed to prove that men can be victims at the hands of women but now all these abusive men are coming out and suing their victims for some reason!â Not to be a cunt but the reason all these abusers are lawyering up is specifically because depp is an abuser and not a victim. They saw on live television that no matter how much evidence this woman had that she had been abused, a court still ruled that she was wrong for talking about it and decided she has to pay over seven times their divorce settlement. They saw a man just like them publicly humiliate his victim and get away with it. THATS why theyâre filing lawsuits and thatâs exactly what we said would happen.
Every time women make an advance in attaining rights, there is a backlash.
In this case, the right we supposedly attained was speaking up about abuse and being believed.
TERFs donât want to save trans men and AFAB nonbinarys who donât look like GNC women.
The want to detransition us, force us to accept our âroleâ as women, make us proud of the parts of ourselves that often make us the most uncomfortable in our own skin.Â
If the trans person in question is white, they want to use our wombs to produce more white babies. Because donât forget, you can never part the racist from the sexist.Â
And if someoneâs too far gone, if theyâre too loud and brash and wield their words like a baseball bat. If they canât be silenced, then they want to kill us. Demean us, dehumanize us, use us as a warning to younger, closeted trans people.Â
Look at them. Look at what testosterone has done to their bodies, the personalities, their souls. You donât want to be like that, do you?
TERFs say the want to save us. They donât.
They want to kill us.
i am going to assume youâre white. most of the terfs youâre arguing with are also white. i am not white, and i donât care about white feelings, so let me be blunt.
shut the fuck up, you lying psychopath. genuinely, nothing enrages me more than seeing pathetic white people use the spectre of white supremacy, baselessly, to scare others into agreeing with their beliefs. as a female-partnered black female, i experience more material oppression than you could ever begin to grasp, and some of the most racial anxiety-ridden and miserable fucks to be around are the white queers and trans people. fair-weather allies to BLM, but usually so nervous around non-white people they canât even speak to us. but theyâll tell everyone weâre pals behind our backs, because, you know, social cred. constantly tokenizing us. using black intellectual labor and the black lib movement to legitimize the new trans and queer ideology. every single one of you is a fucking user.
and you all wonder why dave chappelle is willing to risk his career on this hill. i hate that dude, but black people all over are peaking and waking up to your bullshit. fuck you and every other white queer and trans piece of shit who aligns themselves with âanti-racismâ as a means of superficial intersectionality where there is none. we have nothing in common and you donât do anything for our communities except take, take, take. scum.
why the fuck would radfems want any woman to have unwanted pregnancies anyway why do you people just resort to lies signed, a brown woman
itâs not because sex is a biological phenotype comprised of multiple parts but ok
plus just because someone has reproductive organs doesnât mean that person has to have children. iâm a fucking antinatalist
radfems: women are humans if the female sex, which is defined as the sex typically capable of getting pregnant
tumblr queers: SO WOMEN HAVE TO HAVE BABIES TO BE WOMEN??????!!!!!!!
These people know exactly what it is we mean. They are purposefully misinterpreting it in order to push their own philosophical agenda which has no basis in reality. They misconstrue and outright lie because they donât actually care about facts or having debates. All they care about is furthering their religious dogma, which directly aligns with patriarchal and homophobic power structures. Itâs a way for them to feel power and gain clout without actually challenging the status quo.
They are blowing smoke over their fickel and fraigile glass ideology because there is no consistent ideas which unite them that has a basis in reality. Remember, in order to be something all you have to do is claim to be that thing. Therefore, I claim that I am a dragon, and there is nothing you can do to disprove I am a dragon because a dragon is anyone who identifies as a dragon.
I hope op got the attention and ego stroking they wanted. I hope you enjoy licking the boots of men and conservatives as you further their ideology in a new and even more contagious way.
I must be TERF extreme because Iâm reading this:
âThe want to detransition us, force us to accept our âroleâ as women, make us proud of the parts of ourselves that often make us the most uncomfortable in our own skin. â
And thinking, yeah sounds fucking amazing? I mean apart from the use of the word âroleâ imagine learning that there is nothing wrong with your gender, rather itâs your own maladaptive way of coping with misogny and the shit about yourself youâre not comfortable with, and literally working hard to come to terms with that? I mean who wouldnât love to learn to love and live with themselves as they are, no hiding behind a mask, medicine, surgery and fake social documentation.
This just in: having a uterus doesnât mean you have to use it, thatâs the whole point. If women werenât the sex that can get pregnant, we wouldnât have to worry about reproductive rights in the first place.
drunk history but it's drunk feminism and instead of comedians I interview my mutuals on their radical feminist ideology while they're absolutely pissed
Pink Prison, a comic I did for my color theory class this semester! we had to pick a color, research it, and do a piece related to it somehow. i chose pink :)
I strongly urge all of you to listen to the entire LGB Alliance conference. Even if you're totally removed from UK politics like I am, make your way through it. And especially watch it if you're an LGB person in the US, Canada, or Australia. LGB people in the UK are looking over at us thinking "why are they so behind? Why don't they speak up?"
It's long, but you can watch it in segments. Watch it whether or not you support the LGB Alliance. Watch gay people host panels and speak openly about protecting gay rights. If you're worried it's heavy or depressing to watch, it's not. It's very uplifting. It's not tumblr essays and arguments over tiny minutiae. It's gay humans speaking, defining where we are, how we got here, and where we're going next.
no bc this is such a good way of putting it
Hey, you remember that women who was repeatedly raped while in a coma and it only came to light because a nurse who was changing her diaper noticed she was giving birth? Yeah, several court cases are being settled so facts are being released that show that the case is so much worse than you thought.
One, there was more than one rapist. Police investigations revealed several suspects and during interrogation of the main rapist, Nathan Sutherland, revealed that he was confident that DNA would show he was not the father, as he was not the only rapist and he believed that he had not personally fathered the child.
Two, the doctor in charge of the comatose woman had not examined her in over three years when she gave birth. When it was noted in her charts that she was gaining weight, her genitals were swollen, and there was a hard mass in the abdomen, she was placed on a diet and the calories she was given were reduced. Her calories were reduced, while she was pregnant.
Three, doctors who examined her after she gave birth are not even sure this is the first time she has been pregnant.  âThe examination found lacerations that were old and already healed that were not caused as a result of this delivery,â the court document says. This women, who was 29 when she gave birth in 2018, was two years old when she went into a coma.
Four, the womanâs mother had previously filed paperwork requesting that her daughter only be cared for by female employees. The state and the facility agreed to honor the motherâs wishes, but did not follow through. The mother requested this because in 2002, she was told that her daughter had been raped. In 2002, her daughter was 13 years old!  Police investigating the matter said there was insufficient evidence to warrant a criminal complaint against employees.
Five, she is able to feel pain and she went through the entire birth without care or pain reduction of any kind. The nurse who reported the birth noted that she had suspected something was wrong because the victim âwas moaning.â  One doctor at the hospital, Dr. Marchand, was quoted as saying  â[She] could have been in active labor for hours or even days. This easily could have resulted in a fetal death.â
So remember ladies, rape culture is real and it permeates every moment of our lives.
We need entire female-only medical facilities. Female patients, female staff. This is absolutely vile.
âEasily couldâve resulted in a fetal deathâ even after all that, theyâre still only concerned about the fetus
Is it just me or does it seem like the racism problem on radblr is getting worse?
Racism is a disservice to women. If you prioritize white women over woc then your feminism is worthless.
If you specifically target moc as "thugs" or inherently worse than white men then you need to unpack your racist biases, especially when you start excusing police brutality against Black men.
Misogyny is an ALL men problem. Not a moc issue. ALL men. Stop signaling out poc
Moc are still oppressed on the axis of race. Don't forget that misogyny is not the only form of oppression we need to be fighting against
Ending white supremacy is part of the fight for women's liberation.
the drawback to criticizing bdsm publically will always be the fetishists who barf up stories of their disgusting sex lives at you and expect you to say âoh yes ur right actually my bad thatâs totally normalâ
goddddd youâre so right
I know itâs annoying but please listen to them and please keep critiquing. As a young teen girl I thought the intimate interactions I was having were healthy and normal, despite the harmful reality. Porn told me so. The men I interacted with told me so.
So when women would argue against it on tumblr, I would be the girl yelling âconsent thoâ and âwhat if I want to be hurt??â And guess what⌠being laughed at or mocked or called gross definitely isolated me further into the hands of those who âunderstoodâ me, a.k.a older men.
And Iâm not saying you have to personally save those girls. Iâm saying that if you can stomach it, the best thing you can do for them is reply thoughtfully or even go into their inbox and tell them that sex doesnât have to be a painful test of how much you can take.
I wish someone had done that for me sooner.
What got you out?
A string of circumstances.
First, I saw the comic/art Iâll post below that hit me like a ton of bricks, it deals with self objectification. Which made me start searching for what about my partner of four years (who was also my âdomâ) I found attractive. Turns out what I found attractive about him is that he found me attractive. I realized my entire relationship to sex was this; did I enjoy pain or did I enjoy my partners reactions to hurting me? And how did this all play into my childhood insecurities, traumas, and need for male validation?
I wanted, like I presume many women do, to be the best partner and lover I could be. And an easy way to be that was to be the one that was okay with the most. Who was a âfreakâ in bed. Who didnât say no. These are dangerous notions for a teenager, for any woman.
So I wondered, could I enjoy sex without objectifying myself? Could I separate the two? I started reading heavily into self objectification, anti ddlg, anti bdsm, anti kink. I quietly read anti porn and pro women blogs who didnât shame the women involved, didnât call them handmaidens, but simply offered another way of existing that was painless and pleasurable.
I ended my relationship and pursued partners who I was attracted to, regardless if I believed they would be attracted to me. I had sex with the ones who were interested and focused on my pleasure and boundaries. I stopped âperformingâ in bed, and instead just followed what felt right for my body. It turns out there are plenty of men and women who are passionate, tender, gentle, and excellent lovers who didnât need to hurt me to get off. That I could have slow and intimate or energetic and rough sex with, all without once pushing any boundaries.
For the first time, I had an orgasm with a partner. I wasnt faking. I didnât have to, because I wasnât self harming.
Reading materials that didnât blame me for my self- harm, didnât accuse me of being a weak woman who catered to men, and instead just gave me perspective and asked me honest questions⌠that allowed me the space and mindset to ask myself why without needing to be on the defensive.
That, and again, this specific comic. Itâs a long answer, but I hope it helped.
Iâm literally almost in tears because of how good @radicallyaligned summed it up
That comic was a big eye opener for me too
Thank you so much for saying all this
Thank you Luka! This was one of the first posts I ever replied to with this blog, a year or so ago đ Iâve come so far with healing since then!
This is the first time Iâve seen this comic and radicallyaligneds experience really resonates with me, after being âintoâ kink for so long Iâve only been able to really think about and enjoy my own sexuality after removing pain, performance and humiliation from the bedroom. It really is a healing process
Thank you for sharing
can i just say itâs SO, SO IMPORTANT to ask questions like âWhat got you outâ!! To ask people whoâve BEEN THERE!! To ask WHAT HELPS!!
Everything about this post is so great.
I'm new to the rad fem community, what racist white rad fems are you talking about? đ
Although I do have a list of racist radfem blogs I wasnât sure if I should post urls or not so I quickly made a list of things to look out for in the white radfem community here.
I welcome anyone to add anything to the list Ive left out and if it looks a little weird, keep in mind I posted this on mobile đ
1. Ignores and/or mistrusts WOC â˘centers their feminism around white women(prioritizes them) â˘puts animals before WOC and POC in general â˘only follows/reblogs other white women â˘uses WOC for their own gain
2. Accuses POC for being racist against white people(reverse racism, just doesnât outright call it that) â˘claims WOC are racist against white women â˘claims WOC donât care about white women for making posts about specific WOC issues â˘claims WOC exude more misogyny than white women against white women â˘derails a post about WOC to say,âall women not just WOCâ
3. Defends cultural appropriation/ doesnât see the harm/ just doesnât care
4. Against intersectional feminism â˘claims intersectional feminism hasnât helped WOC â˘claims intersectional feminism is only about males â˘claims it should be abolished
5. Claiming anything said in a different language is misogynist without google translating what was said first â˘(reminds of white people who donât allow poc to speak any language besides English in their restaurants/ place of business.)
6. Uses the term âracefemâ
7. Reblogs from obviously blatant racist, neo nazis, white nationalists without criticism â˘unsourced info â˘racist undertones go unquestioned â˘chooses to let the op slide for their support of white supremacy for whatever reason8. Claims men of color are more violent/sexist/misogynist than white men â˘claims MOC are the majority of rapists â˘claims MOC only or mainly rape/abuse white women â˘says things like,âwe donât talk about Muslims or MOC in general because we donât want to be accused of racismâ.
9. Posts or reblogs something low key racist or is accused of racism then all of a sudden starts reblogging âBlack Lives Matterâ type of posts or anything POC related to cover up the previous racism
10. Stays quiet when a mutual or other white woman is being blatantly racist and uses the,âitâs not my place to speak about raceâ excuse â˘doesnât think women should be held accountable for their blatant racist posts â˘doesnât think white women can be/are as racist as their male counterparts
- constantly comparing racism to misogyny eg. âPregnant people is like all live matterâ and âsaying biological sex is a social construct is like saying you donât see colourâ which grossly under complicates the reality of colour blindness and all lives matter and throws poc under the bus in their feminist analysis.
- constantly expecting woc to defend them from racism accusations from libfems while being blatantly racist themselves.
- trying to âeducateâ woc on the oppression we face in our own individual cultures as if we donât know already and have a lot more nuance then they ever will.
- dragging woc for no gotdamn reason but staying silent when their mutuals are reblogging from literal white supremacists (yes Iâm talking about catgate)
- using racialized metaphors against trans women eg. âtrans women are colonizing womanhoodâ which once again grossly manipulates the situation and throws poc under the bus.
âWhy can black men call women bitches but I a white woman canât call them the n word?â <p> âWoC are just being petty for telling me to stop supporting known racistsâ
Just know, this is not exclusive to radfems. Libfems are just as bad if not worse on this stuff.
And to add to the list: - calling refugees ârapeugeesâ (this is an actual tag on a radfem blog)
itâs fascinating how people who identify as queer have largely been the ones to destroy any reclamatory power it might have had
if you believe âqueerâ was never a slur you fundamentally cannot understand the history of activism using that word. like genuinely itâs astonishing to have to routinely explain this to the people using it as an identity
i know the term transmisogyny is stupid but if it were to be used for anything it wouldâve been better used in reference to trans men. transmisogyny is a term to describe the intersection of transphobia and misogyny and, quite frankly, trans men will always experience aspects of misogyny that trans women will never face.
trans women only face misogyny if they pass, and even then itâs misdirected. this isnât to say they arenât oppressed, they obviously face transphobia/gncphobia for being gnc males but the misogyny they face is conditional and misdirected.
no matter how many years a trans man is into his transition he is still susceptible to misogyny. his transition status will never change this.
using the term transmisogyny wrt trans women is inaccurate.

Call to Action against Huffington Postâs new âQueer Voicesâ page
#KINKISNOTQUEER
UPDATE: I had to remove all the links on this post as it wonât get listed in the search results otherwise
So HuffPo nixed their âGay Voicesâ page in January and replaced it with a seemingly much more inclusive âQueer Voicesâ page. Unfortunately, the Executive Editor Noah Michelson decided that he wanted to abuse his position for his own disgusting ends.Â
On March 21st he posts an article in the Queer Voices page as such
Of course, the idea that diaper fetishists are queer didnât exactly go over well with LGBTQ people, who tweeted their anger at the official twitter, @huffpostqueer. Michelson, seemingly in complete control of the Queer Voices social media pages, began offering increasingly absurd justifications for his actions as well as retweeting from his personal account repeatedly.
Of course, not content with merely redefining Queer as anything ânon-normativeâ when it comes to sex and sexuality, Michelson also saw it fit to post an old article from Jillian Keenan.
This article is of course hugely homophobic, redefining the experience of homosexuality as being purely an act of sex (while also throwing in some classic lesbophobia). Being gay or bisexual being something that is carried with you outside the bedroom everywhere you go doesnât seem to register with Keenan or Michelson, as well as seemingly implying that LGB asexual people, or any LGB person who still has their virginity, cannot be LGB because they do not engage in sexual acts.
Of course, people had more issues with this line of reasoning than just the abysmal broadening of âQueerâ to include any cishet individual who doesnât do it in the missionary position. The language used reminded many of the attempts by NAMBLA and other pedophile groups to have pedophilia considered an acceptable sexual orientation.
They may try to backpedal on that issue, but it is unquestionable that Michelsonâs actions pave the way for hopeful child rapists to âfight for their rightsâ under the Queer label.
A clarification was posted last night that contradicted itself hard by essentially stating âkinksters arenât necessarily queer, but kinksters are queerâ
Shining beacons of logic, surely.
Now to what you can do to put a stop to this garbage
Thereâs no point tweeting to @huffpostqueer because Michelson holds all the keys to the kingdom. Heâs decided this is how it is going to be and our protesting isnât going to disuade him. Instead, consider tweeting to these accounts and consider using the hashtag #KinkIsNotQueer
@huffingtonpostâÂ
@ariannahuff - This is HuffPoâs Founder and Editor-in-Chief
@katepalmsâÂ
@katienelsonÂ
Also consider emailing these emails with âQueer Voicesâ somewhere in the subject line, asking fetish material to be moved and Michelson removed from his position.
[email protected] - Editor-in-Chiefâs active email
Hopefully, with enough people bothering HuffPoâs leading executives, we can get Michelson offÂ
Queer is, was, and remains a slur. Because regardless of all the reclamation in the world, it still means âstrange, odd, to spoil or ruinâ. And that baseline allows for shit like this to occur. Where people want to put same sex attraction in the same arena as adult diapering. Its fucking offensive.
BTW, if you havenât already, read this book. Itâs all about the âmannosphereâ (incels, pickup artists, MGTOW, etc.). The audiobook narration is also good if you prefer audiobooks.
Book description:
Imagine a world in which a vast network of incels and other misogynists are able to operate, virtually undetected. These extremists commit deliberate terrorist acts against women. Vulnerable teenage boys are groomed and radicalised.
You don't have to imagine that world. You already live in it. Perhaps you didnât know, because we donât like to talk about it. But itâs time we start.
In this urgent and groundbreaking book, Laura Bates, bestselling author and founder of The Everyday Sexism Project, goes undercover to expose vast misogynist networks and communities. Itâs a deep dive into the worldwide extremism nobody talks about.
Interviews with former members of these groups and the people fighting against them gives unique insights on how this movement operates. Ideas are spread from the darkest corners of the internet â via trolls, media and celebrities â to schools, workplaces and the corridors of power, becoming a part of our collective consciousness.
Uncensored, and sometimes both shocking and terrifying â this is the uncomfortable truth about the world we live in. And what we must do to change it.
