Listen here.
I’ve learned quite a bit in the last year or so working on becoming a Marine. I graduated high school and learned that life isn’t what they say it’s going to be in the classroom. I’ve quit a job and learned that it sucks to tell someone that you don’t think their business is going to succeed. I’ve lost a love that had my heart soar every day and I learned that heartache is the worst sort of pain. I’ve lived with depression and the overwhelming experience of living with believing you are the lowest of the low. I learned then that that struggle is the worst, but it’s the best at the same time.
If you want something, get up and take it. You want to lose weight? Get off the computer and go out and do it. I did and I lost over 60 pounds. You want to stop your depression? Get out of your room and face your fears. Grab life by the balls and make it work for you. Commit yourself to a job, a cause, a city, a community. Anything or anybody. Just don’t be content with being beaten. You are amazing, your body is incredible. You can do so much more than your memories, feelings and mind makes you think. You just have to have the willpower to get up and do it.
Fight the good fight ladies and gentlemen. That’s all it takes.
