finally found some good references for my version of kast fulier!!!

been over a year and i finally found some pictures that actually fit how i see him (albeit when he’s younger). just very happy with that and how i can now better picture my man :)

i imagine him as being closest in appearance to this gentleman who i sadly was unable to find a name for :(

the main difference i’d say is i ofc imagine him to have sunspots and a bit of a semi-permanent tan in places from time spent outside on missions + i picture kast being very fond of cornrows (particularly sunburst style ones) to protect his hair <- though he does often wear his natural hair when at the temple for long periods of time

ofc this would be an image of him when he was much younger as i like to imagine him being roughly in his early seventies when the clone wars kick off

Everything from her facial features to tattoos to clothing is genuinely so her, like that is Etain and she is beautiful!!!

Like I genuinely don’t think you realize how speechless I am, she looks stunning

The way you draw scars in general is amazing and you’ve done her’s so well! I’ll be honest and say that I feel that it’d probably shock a lot of non-Jedi that she (or really any Jedi) has notable scars <- since so many have the image of them being invincible and whatnot. Honestly might have to play around with that idea, not only with Etain but other Jedi as well👀

Also not to mention general proportions! You always draw people like actual people and it makes the characters feel truly real.

Plus her curls are so beautiful — and that’s without mentioning her earrings and saber! Like Blue, my dear, are you absolutely, positively certain that you aren’t magic?

Joking ofc, the amount of work gone into all you do is visible and it’s beyond awe-inspiring

Also how you can tell that she’s tall >>>>>>>

Like I said, in my heart she’s tall + we need 1). more tall female characters in-general and 2). more Clone romances that involve their partner being either close to their height or taller

Plus, depending on the ship in question, Etain could be either cause the only reason I accept 6’/183cm Clones is because the idea of them being taller than Jango is funny to me (+ I’m dying on the hill of if the Clones are 6’ then the Nulls and Alphas are Jango’s natural height cause they were the earliest batches <- therefore platonic Ordo x Etain w/ her being taller than him or Dartain w/ them being close in height)

Her tattoos are beyond well done as well! It’s the first time I’ve actually seen them be drawn out in a way for it to be easy to actually picture them on her and they’re so so beautiful!!!

They were honestly the hardest to try and come up with since I kept going through so many different versions (whether it would be on the maximalist or minimalist side of things, general cultural symbols, etc.), and you’ve truly done them justice to the point they’re better than anything I could’ve ever imagined

Also adore in the first image her wearing gloves since she does understand how recognizable her tattoos are and how, excluding her lightsaber and robes, it’d be easy to identify her even pre-Order 66 if one did even basic research about her

Her robes also fit her so well!!! Especially love her regular robes being on the longer side cause that’s so her, and not to mention her clothing for during the war! It’s still very her and very Jedi, while also showcasing the necessary practicality of everything going on (hair pulled back more, robes shorter, armor, etc) — I also always adore how you do Jedi utility belts, they always fit so well with what we see in universe!

Also her formal robes and comfy clothes <333

Imagining her now in a happier world where she gets to wear her formal robes and feel pretty. Maybe I can try and find an excuse for her to be able to wear them during the war as a treat; perhaps for a specific diplomatic mission or an AU without Order 66 where she can wear them for celebrating the end of the fighting🤔👀

I also really like the differences between her everyday robes and her comfy clothes! Her comfy ones are still quite structured w/ the belt and whatnot but also less so than her typical clothing — it does an amazing job at highlighting the difference between when she’s either on a mission or has lessons and/or general things to do vs when she’s relaxed and comfortable around those she loves

Saved for somewhat last as well, the way you draw lightsabers is breathtaking!!!! You captured the aesthetics perfectly and how well it fits in-story of her saber hilt being heavily inspired by Galidraan’s cultural daggers

Overall, all of the above doesn’t even cover the half of how much I adore these, but I meant it when I said I was (and still am) pretty much speechless!!!

Also I miss talking to you too! Thankfully I’m both back into Star Wars as well as in a better place personally to feel up to yapping everyone’s ears off again (both about Etain and just in-general) XD

hi I just stumbled upon your mando worldbuilding and as someone who is also fucking around with mandalorian ideas (making clans and designing animals and ecologies and such) i thought that was really cool !! If you have any specific ideas you'd like to share rn i'd love to hear them !! other than that i'm just lookin around and saying hello to another mando lore enjoyer :]

Hell yeah fellow mando lore creator and enjoyer!! Mmmmmmmmh I do have a little thing about Stewjon in my notebook:

Stewjon can be classified as one of the ex-colonies whose culutre as been little-to-none changed by the arrival of the Mandalorians, both due to them living relatively less time under their rule than the other ex-colonies, a lack of interest from the native population to interact with the mandos, and the reclaiming of the planet through a war won by the Stewjoni.

The House who had first conquered the planet had done so more though luck than strenght, as when they had decided to attack the planet had just started going through a serie of natural events that led to a shortage of food, and with the incoming war on top of it the Stewjoni decided to surrender. These Mandalorians were not cut out for being planetary leaders, and so in less than 50 years, once the Stewjoni were again strong and steady, they defeated the House (and the Clans under it) and made them run away, all but for 3 Clans, who had allied themselves with the Stewjoni, and so were regarded as friends.

By the time of the Great Clans War these 3 Clans have been living on the planet for 600 years. In their everyday life they show no real differences from the other Stewjoni, the only eye-cathing ones are their use of mandalorian symbols on their clothes, houses, utensiles etc., and for their face tattoo resembling a T-visor, which they get once they have completed their Verd'goten.

They also so not really speak mando'a, it's more of a stewjoni dialect with some grammatical rules and sounds that come from it, but still very much the stewjoni language.

okay…thinking about what kinds of tea (if any) my characters would like <- i’ve thought of it before but haven’t shared + some of it’s changed

her taste varies wildly, with the only given is she likes her tea on the sweeter side (even if only slightly). for comfort it’s often black tea with a variety of spices added to it; anything with cardamom, whether by itself or with things like cinnamon and cloves being added as well, is always welcome to her!

for a lighter tea though she enjoys green tea but if given the choice she’ll always go for hibiscus ones

totally not inspired by me presently drinking a really good hibiscus tea //

can stomach, but not always enjoy, just about anything.

has a great preference for either green tea (especially in the mornings) or a black tea made similarly to masala chai (something he takes great comfort in as it reminds him of helping cook meals for the temple). <- he likes others as well but if those are available he’s immediately picking them

either an extremely strong caf (doesn’t matter how it’s made/if anything else is in it, as long as it’s strong) or the space equivalent of long jing green tea, no inbetween
