This might not be exactly what you asked for, but here’s Knight Eeth Koth after helping Initiate Agen Kolar coax a cat from their hiding place in the temple. He says he was simply very patience and calm, but I have in good authority he also used a good amount of treats. He might also have used his own hair as a uh, emergency cat toy.
