Two new items in the Washed Out store - Our coffee-based Barista body butter, and our mini sampler packs. The body butter is 100% plant based and 100% natural, a balanced blend of butters and oils, put together to improve the condition of your skin while strengthening it’s natural defences. It is  incredibly light and soft in texture, and absorbs into the skin very quickly. It is super versatile, and can be used as a wash-out hair mask or leave-in conditioning product, as a shaving cream/aftershave balm, beard oil, sparingly as a general moisturiser or mor eliberally for more intensive or overnight treatments. The mini packs include one sampler bar of each of our soaps. They are individually packaged and bundled up. Perfect for anyone trying our stuff for the first time!

Washed Out 03 - Salt Of The Earth

This is a very special bar! We started out with our Classic formula, and added shea butter, which provides a soft, luxurious and silky lather. We then added kaolin clay, which is great for the skin, particularly in clearing oily areas without completely stripping the skin of it’s good oils. The recipe is topped with Himalayan sea salt, which is very nourishing and provides a gentle exfoliation. The soap is completely unfragranced, making it perfect for sensitive skin. I’ve been workshopping this idea for a while before I settled on a formula, and I couldn’t be happier with the result! A really gentle, 100% natural, cleanser bar. SNEAK PEEK - Washed Out 03; Salt Of The Earth This is a really special soap that i’ve been working on for a while - This is totally unfragranced, making it ideal for sensitive skin. It is stacked up with kaolin clay, great for cleansing oily areas, and himalayan sea salt which is nourishing and provides a light exfoliation. Topped off with silky shea butter. This is just a really gentle cleanser. We will have this with us at the Painted Elephant artisan market in Newcastle on March 15th and will be available from the online store soon after.

Manchester alt rockers Claw the Thin Ice have announced their second album, 'Exercise' will be released on March 16th through Barely Regal Records and Get Into It Records.

Sunday - Washed Out Soap Co. Today I am starting to prep stock for a couple of events we are doing next month, which leaves less than 10 of each bar available in the online store right now! As well as preparing for events and constantly working on stock, I am hoping to have some very cool new items on the way in the coming weeks, including the above pictured soap, a brand new variety which is really, really special. The next few orders from the store will be going out with free sample packs so if you order, you may well get to try this ahead of official release! store store store
