@glitterypandaherringhorse
why can rockstar games institutionalise you for life like nikita kruschev for being autistic
He didn't steal 10 million dollars. They made that number up as a loss, they never fucking had it. Rockstar has spent more than a billion fucking dollars on GTA VI and will likely make billions more when it gets released.
Uber is a fucking shell game of a company designed to leech investor capital and output bootleg cabs.
Nvidia posted a profit in 2023 of $4.37 billion. This is like someone stealing less than a penny from me.
And they lock this kid in a prison hospital for LIFE?
Capitalism is disgusting.
Nobody should buy GTA til they free Arion Kurtaj
What with GTA VI going up for pre-order i'd just like to remind everyone that rockstar conspired with the UK government to lock an 18-year-old away for life for hacking them.
I highly recommend watching this testimony from Aliya Rahman, the disabled woman who was dragged out of her car and kidnapped by ICE on her way to a doctor appointment in Minneapolis a few weeks ago.
Truly my worst nightmare.
Transcript of Aliya Rahman's speech:
Thank you members, for taking the time to be here today, and thank you staff for making this happen.
My name is Aliya Rahman, and I am a resident of South Minneapolis. I am a Bangladeshi American born in Northern Wisconsin. And I’m a disabled person with autism and a traumatic brain injury.
Not all autistic brains do this, but mine fixates on sounds, numbers, and patterns. And while what the world saw happen to me exactly three weeks ago today on video was a terrible violation it is still nothing compared to the horrific practices I saw inside the Whipple center.
So I am here today with a duty to the people who have not had the privilege of coming home, and I offer this data because these practices must end now.
On January 13th on the way to my 39th appointment at Hennepin County’s traumatic brain injury center, I encountered a traffic jam caused by ICE vehicles and no signs indicating how to get around it. I had not wanted to pull in to a blocked, chaotic intersection, but verbally agreed to do so and rolled down my window after an agent yelled, “Move! I will break your f-ing window!”
His first instruction.
Agents on all sides of my vehicle yelled conflicting threats and instructions that I could not process while watching for pedestrians.
Then, the glass of the passenger side window flew across my face.
I yelled, “I’m disabled!” at the hands grabbing at me and an agent said, “Too late.”
I felt immersed in a pattern, and I thought of Jenoah Donald, an autistic black man killed by the police during a traffic stop in 2021.
I remembered mister Silverio Villegas González, who was killed by ICE in his vehicle last year.
An agent pulled a large combat knife in front of my face, which I thought was for cutting me, and later learned was used to cut off my seat belt. Shooting pain went through my head, neck, and wrists when I hit the ground face first and people leaned on my back.
I felt the pattern, and I thought of mister George Floyd, who was killed four blocks away.
I was carried face down through the street by my cuffed arms and legs while yelling that I had a brain injury and was disabled. I now cannot lift my arms normally.
I was never asked for ID.
Never told I was under arrest.
Never read my rights.
And never charged with a crime.
Approaching the Whipple center, I saw black and brown bodies shackled together, chained together, being marched by yelling agents outdoors. I continued to hear the word “bodies”, because that is how agents referred to us:
“We’re bringing in a body.”
“They’re bringing in bodies 7, 8 at a time, where do I put ‘em?”
“We can’t use that room, there’s already a body in there.”
You have no reason to believe you will make it out alive if you’re already being called a body.
Agents repeatedly had to stop and ask how to do tasks. I received no medical screening, phone call, or access to a lawyer. I was denied a communication navigator when my speech began to slur. Agents laughed as I tried to immobilize my own neck. I asked for my cane and was told no, pulled up by my arms and prodded forward in leg irons by agents laughing and saying, “Walk! You can do it, walk.”
Agents did not know if the facility had a wheelchair.
When I was finally placed in one to be taken to interrogation an agent taunted, “You were driving, right? So your legs do work.”
I pleaded for emergency medical care for over an hour after my vision had become blurry, my heart rate went through the roof, and the pain in my neck and head became unbearable.
It was denied.
When I became unable to speak my cellmate pleaded for me.
The last sounds I remember before I blacked out on the cell floor were my cellmate banging on the door, pleading for a medic, and a voice outside saying, “We don’t wanna step on ICE’s toes.”
When I opened my eyes at Hennepin County’s emergency room, I learned I was brought there to be treated for assault.
The impacts of DHS detention on my physical, mental and financial well-being and safety have been very severe, but I do not deserve more humane treatment than anyone else, US citizen or not. And I am here today with a strong spirit and a duty to the many people who haven’t had the privilege to tell their stories or see their loved ones come home. I am extremely distressed by the pattern that violence from law enforcement has been happening to black and indigenous communities for centuries, and to DHS survivors for over 20 years.
We call ourselves a civilized nation, but we lack rules and accountability around what a person claiming to be law enforcement is permitted to do to another human being.
I am not afraid, and I’m not afraid to keep working on this problem even after ICE is gone. Thank you for your time.

Purpose.
In first study of its kind, Cambridge researchers found AI toys could misread some children's emotions.
My kids and i have already had to talk about things made by real people and things made by the computer with nobody directing it, because some show that was essentially an advertisement for one of these ai toys came across the screen. It's so gross that these toys are presented as the solution to the problem of Talking To Your Kids.
Look. Being a parent is a full time job, it's tiring, sometimes you need a break. That's what Elmo and Miss Rachel are for. There is a wealth of good children's programming out there that is fun, that even focuses on communication, so you can get your own shit done without having to be hovering over your child at all times. I'm typing this right now while they are watching octonauts, and because they love octonauts, they also love seeing the orcas on dad's whale tracking page, they point out animals they recognize at the aquarium, and my daughter wants to help sea creatures when she's a grown up.
Nobody needs an ai chatbot for children. Children, least of all, need an ai chatbot. What kids need are adults who do not see them as future customers, to rig them into dependancy on their creepy and useless product. They need adults who care to speak to them like the new people they are.
I am so glad my last parent teacher conference ended with a long and cathartic rant while we both griped about ai targeted at kids.
Also, it is so fucking funny that the failure point is that the chatbot can't understand the kids. No parents were involved in this thing's R&D because one of my jobs as parent is translating from toddler to english.
So I just watched Dearhstroke: Knights and Dragons. One funny thing about it is that they had the Jackal the main villain do something that I thought was a Deathstroke special back when I also thought his supervillain name was Slade.
Find a remarkable but vulnerable young person and manipulate them to your own ends.
I mean he’s still a liar in this but more in a gore mercenary superhero kind of way instead of a turning kids into your living weapons kind of way.
Reddit - Prove your humanity
So I know DC’s OK event has problems but the concept for the second round was really interesting.
Characters picking forms from their histories is great. Strategy and characterization all in one. Especially when we are talking about comic book characters who are bond to have a lot of stuff behind them.
Honestly I would be willing to read something that was just that.
Reblog if you will never. Ever. Use AI in your writing.
While Batman is the sternest mentor in the world because he has to be, Bruce Wayne spoils his children on a scale bordering insanity, and the only force on earth that can stop him is Alfred.
For all of the batkids, one of the most jarring aspects of being adopted by Bruce was the overwhelming whiplash between the utilitarian, practical "I've calculated exactly how many gummy bears you need and the answer is zero" vigilante they work with, and the endless shower of nonchallant gifts and praise that comes from their father the moment his mask is off.
When Duke casually mentions that he likes the baklava from that one Mediterranean bakery on 7th, Bruce has the bakery cater to their dinner table for a month. All Cassandra did was point at a sketchbook in a museum gala, and within two weeks, she had a fully equipped art studio in the west wing of the manor. Damian knows that all he has to do is gently tug on his father's sleeve and say "Baba, the electronics at the school are completely inadequate for my studies," and Bruce will pick him up and nod knowlingly, "Of course, Damian, I'll have Alfred drive you to Best Buy tomorrow."
No one in the entire Justice League has the gumption to try and quell this monstrosity. They sit helplessly as Nightwing interrupts a JL meeting and catches Bruce right before he slips into his Batman persona, innocently mentioning how sorry he is for barging in but he's just absolutely craving- and Bruce's credit card is already in his hand. Clark, once, tried to softly plead with Bruce to just not spoil the kids quite so much, and Bruce respectfully acknowledged his concern while actively wrapping Tim in eight heated alpaca fur weighted blankets. God help them when Steph wants a car.
Alfred is the only one who can restrain Bruce, but it's painful. "Master Bruce," he says in a firm, gentle tone, "Master Jason certainly does not require this many brand new motorcycle jackets," and Bruce just pouts- pouts, ladies and gentlemen- as he's actively sewing new patches onto an $1,100 leather jacket. "But he asked for it Alfred, and he never asks me for things, and I only got him eighteen of them, you know he runs through them so quickly..."
so can we start hunting down white liberals now or what
The full picture is even more heart breaking after you open the uncropped version. Just a heads-up, it's rough
“The Roman Catholic Parish in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan was just grafitted.”
Nah let’s post it. Let’s feel it. Don’t look away.
I notice alot of my followers on here skipping these posts just to mess with my lgbt ones, suspiciously the white popular ones.
Heres a not so friendly reminder, as an lgbt metis person, i dont give a single fuck what your blog is themed or if this is too painful for you to look at. Reblog this post. Reblog this post with the sources of the 751 children who were found.
Your compliance and silence as well as the compliance and silence of your ancestors is what allowed these schools to open and kill first nations children. The children of MY people.
Dont follow me if you cant reblog this post or the one with sources to your political blog or your most popular blog. Add trigger warnings if you must but if your political blog is only focused on the harms you personally face like being lgbt then you need to see some bigger pictures and stop being afraid of angering your racist mutural or actually saying some shit about racism. If you can reblog some antifa graphics or add blm to your bio to be a surface level ally, you can reblog some sources on the genocide first nations people faced and still face today.
They were CHILDREN.
They were murdered in cold blood.
I’d like to add this photo I took last night in Victoria of the statue of Captain Cook. Though I myself am not indigenous, I 100% agree that these murderers, kidnappers and rapists shouldn’t have huge statues and plaques that decorate them and say how “great” they were.
Here’s another photo of the legislative assembly from yesterday. Later on there were more items, candles and signs at the memorial, as well as a big poster with 1505 painted on it but I didn’t get a picture
People need to see this. Not just quickly glance at the photos and keep on scrolling. They need to see this.
Reblog this or just stop following me
I had seen the first picture of the church, but not the second.
I went to a “Cancel Canada Day” event and burst into tears - not because I was surprised to learn of the unmarked graves (survivors told us they were there. Our government pushed it aside, and we let them), but because seeing all the people gathered in mourning drove it home: They. Were. Children.
This is my country’s legacy - and it’s not history. The last schools closed during my lifetime. My Father went to school with students who lived at the local residential school, after it was changed to a boarding house (read: holding centre) for indigenous youth who went to local schools.
They were all children, injured, abused, and killed in my country’s attempt to erase them. I want the world to see this and hold the state accountable to *active* reconciliation> I mean we could at least truly adopt UNDRIP in action instead of words for god’s sake.
here you can read an article about a survivor of the church and some of the things he experienced to help put into perspective how awful and just how recent it was
Sharing this for visibility, and for my grandmother, who grew up in a residential school. Here's a horrifying fact to really put into perspective how recent these crimes were committed - the last residential school closed in Canada in 1996. Literally the year I was born.
Since then, much of my family - my grandmother's children, and two generations of children since - have become members the church in some form or another. Many of my uncles and aunts are preachers, cousins are missionaries, and brothers church leaders. I think I can only recall one family member who's an avid member of a church organization who I haven't grown distant with due to the indoctrinated ideals of the church warping their mind - my oldest brother, who I love dearly. It hurts my heart when I see the women in my family grow their hair to their ankles and the men buzz their hair down to their ears, not to connect themselves with the earth or to grieve, but because they've been convinced since childhood that God would send them to hell if they didn't. It pains me to know, deep down, how many of them would want me to conform and change myself if they knew I was two-spirited. Colonization runs deep in our family.
They were children. Many of those who lived still echo the teachings and values of an institution that sought to erase their cultural identities, and kill those who didn't conform.
My grandmother is still alive today. She is born Saulteaux, but she couldn't have told you that 60 years ago, as she had much of her identity wiped out by the processes of residential schooling, and later, she married a French man, eradicating what was left of her identity in the eyes of the government. She does not speak her native tongue. Many of her children and grandchildren are people born of the red earth of Atlantic Canada, Mi'kmaq, but they couldn't tell you what the word means or why it should matter to them if it's not written in the Bible.
I'm fortunate to live in a place where we make land acknowledgements towards the unceded territory that we live upon. But "acknowledgment" is not reparation.
Canada is a country built on the blood of children. Never forget that.
Wela'lin. Miigwech.
Easily find every mention of Trump, Clinton, blackmail, and potential sex crimes in the thousands of private messages between Epstein and hi
This is not the Department of Justice files. These are the files from the Epstein Estate that were released recently. The House of Representatives will be voting on the release of the DOJ files possibly next week. Trump is heavily pressuring the Republicans who have signed on to release the files.
