Bug IDs - Central TX, USA:

The first is the final molt (shed exoskeleton) of a the nymph of a cicada. It is not possible to tell which species.

The 2nd is a Two-striped Stick Insect (Anisomorpha sp.). There are two species, both of which supposedly occur in Austin, but there seems to be some confusion about the distribution of the 2 species, and they are often misidentified as the other species.
