brrrrrrrh. I imagine Josie bundling up a lot in Haven and even in Skyhold (I know it looks green around the place but honestly people can ALSO pry Skyhold being cold from my cold dead hands. Pun unintended.

ANYWAY, imagine Josie, bundled up in warm soft scarves, some her own, some given to her by or borrowed by her Inquisitor, and shawls, and wearing like six petticoats and flannel pantaloons.

Warming up next to a fireplace or in a hot bath, drinking hot tea or hot cocoa, wrapping herself in thick blankets (maybe with her Inquisitor, maybe not). Having a hot water bottle or something on her lap when she sits at her desk far from the fireplace.

Just. Josie bundling up and protecting against the cold in Haven and Skyhold.

It’s been awhile since I posted anything. I had this sketched up a while ago but didn’t know what I wanted to do color-wise.

I recently discovered Krita as a painting tool and wanted to play around with it. I’m loving a lot of features so far and am excited to try out new ideas with it.

Just a head’s up: It’s less than a week to Comic Fiesta, the biggest Anime, Games, and Comics convention in Malaysia, and my art group will have a table on both days (Basic Artbooth section: Yon Gumi, M18-19). As I’ll be bringing most of my inventory (Inktobers, prints, etc) to sell there, the online store will be closed from Friday Dec 16th - Sunday Dec 18th.

Therefore, if there’s anything in the store that you’ve had your eye on, I’d suggest you get them prior to the 16th in case it sells out at the convention floor.

Hiatus Notice

Hey guys, so as much as I really hate to announce this…  I’m gonna go on hiatus for awhile.  I really hate saying this because I literally just made this blog, but it’s something that I really think needs to happen, and I’m incredibly sorry for this.

Part of this is because I’ve been having immense trouble focusing or having the motivation to do drafts.  The last year or so my brain’s been having trouble working the way it should, and it’s really at the point where I need to take the time and sort that shit out.  It’s impacting my schoolwork, it’s impacting my writing, and my life in general and it really needs to get figured out.  I do not want to pressure myself with drafts on top of this.  I do not want you guys to be waiting forever on drafts, as much as you may say you don’t mind.  I do not feel it’s fair to anyone.

The other thing is I do not feel like I can give you guys a quality Josephine right now.  I’m anxious about playing her partially because I have not written a canon character before, but it’s also because I do not feel like I have a good enough grasp of who she is outside of a diplomat to truly do her justice.  You guys (and Josie) deserve so much better than that.  I know I can do her justice, however I really need to work on her before I can come close to doing that.  Working and improving my ability to write her is something I intend on doing while I take time for myself.  Where would I be without my muses after all?  (No where, the answer is no where.)

However!

I do not intend on dropping threads.  I will be replying very selectively when I have energy and muse to do so.  However don’t expect me to do this often.  When I come off I may drop some or all threads, but currently I am not doing so.

In the meantime what you can expect:

I have intentions of writing out a detailed backstory for Josephine, filling in the gaps for what canon does not account for while staying as close to canon as I can.  This is to give myself a better idea of her childhood, where she is coming from, and the woman rather than the diplomat.  I may be posting updates to this depending on how comfortable I feel with sharing it.  This process has helped me immensely with getting to know and establish things with my OCs, I hope that this will help me get to know Josephine as well.

Screenshots and image reblogs.  I will be working on several playthroughs with various OCs, it is only natural that I get screenshots of Josephine as well.  Some of these will likely be posted here as well as relevant gifs, reblogged art and so on and so forth.  

There is a reasonable chance I’ll pop on from time to time for banter.  Banter is low fuss and low energy, so I will likely be doing this from time to time.

The end goal is a better mun and a better Josephine.  Thank you so so much for understanding, I promise this isn’t forever.
