How is it only Tuesday?

We bought an 1892 farmhouse that is just beautiful. However, the furnace is not big enough for the size of the house. It’s currently working overtime because it is -25 degrees here. Good thing we are getting a new furnace.

I completely forgot that I had a Tumblr account.  I have been fully off of the radar the last 2 years apparently.  It makes sense, because that is when life got busier than it had ever been.  I am hoping to use this again as an outlet for myself.  If you don’t care, cool.  If you are interested... go ahead and follow along.

Did another DIY project with one of my end tables. Just a little chalk paint and antiquing wax and it looks like a completely different (and better looking) end table. Plan was to try this out on the end tables before I redo the vanity cabinet in my bathroom. So far I’m really liking it!

I’m so excited!! My husband put up shelves in our closet. I can’t believe how much a few strategically placed shelves maximizes space. We were able to fit ALL of our clothes from our TWO ginormous dressers in our closet with some shelf space to spare. So awesome!!

Making my lunch and breakfast for my day in the office tomorrow. I have had a difficult time not snacking when I’m working in the office and these box lunches are kind of fun to put together. I also don’t find myself craving a snack all the time so that’s progress... right?

These Banana Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Muffins are so yummy and so filling. My very picky husband even likes them! I’ve also wrapped each muffin separately in plastic wrap and put into a ziploc bag and froze them. They just have to microwaved for about 1 minute and they still taste fresh!

I found this recipe through Pinterest from the blog, Organize Yourself Skinny. So good!

This little girl hurt her arm... we think. She only starts limping around when we are eating. Other than that she is still running around like crazy indoors and outdoors. Faking it for food? Maybe.🤔😂

I was hoping to start posting sooner but I’ve been too busy shoveling snow. We got another 5 inches after these photos were taken. Yeah, everything is great here.🙄❄️

Well, I hope to find out! 

I don’t know where to begin!  I have found that I have been wanting to journal about what has been going on.  Some good, and some not-so-great things here and there.  I’ve just felt the need to type it all out.  So, I am going to try it here.  While I hope whoever reads this is able to find some enjoyment and laughter from my day-to-day life.  Let me tell ya, sometimes it can be a bit uncanny in a hilarious way.  Or most of the time, I think it is pretty ordinary? We’ll see.
