He takes Kael’thas’ hand and carefully slides the ring on, then stands up and pulls him close for a breathless kiss. He breaks away, whole body trembling from the sheer emotion of it all* I love you so much.

*is similarly just overwhelmed by emotion and just smiles up at Rommath when they break apart from the kiss* I love you too. *he looks down at the ring on his finger, marvelling at it* This is absolutely beautiful Rommath, this is just all so perfect. *he laughs a bit shakily, just so happy* I think I’ve definitely made my decision regarding which is the best party I’ve ever attended now!

He barely noticed how the crowd had started to cheer for them* I'm so glad you like it. It took a while to make-- I went through so many possible designs. Flowers, fire bolts... but in the end I knew it had to be a phoenix.

*has been having an absolutely fantastic time at the party so far, socialising and drinking, though for once he’s actually not legless by halfway through the night, having been a lot more graceful about drinking than usual due to the fancy nature of the party. While taking a brief pause from all that he turns to Rommath, a big smile on his face.*

You know, I think I was right. This has to be one of the best parties we’ve been to in recent history! I mean I don’t know if anything can top that one time we ended up fucking in Vorel’s house, but it’s still pretty fantastic!

He sets his glass down, allowing a moment to pass in the quiet before reaching out to take one of Kael’thas’ hands in his* Without a doubt, this night has been incredible. But, for me, every waking moment with you is more magical than any ball or party could ever be. So... I would ask that we could continue to do this until the end of our days. *he takes a slightly shaky breath and gets down on one knee, taking the little box from his pocket and clicking it open, revealing a beautifully crafted golden ring with intricate wings resembling a phoenix, inlaid with small, glittering emeralds. Anyone familiar with Rommath’s jewelcrafting would instantly recognise it as one of his works-- one of his masterpieces* Will you marry me?

*swans into Stormwind Keep, dressed up in a gown which looks like it probably cost a tremendous sum to buy and honestly looking like he’s been planning for this event for months at this point. His mask is phoenix themed of course, bespelled to look as though its feathers are made of fire. Once he got a glimpse of how the Keep looks for the party, he spins around and grins at Rommath* you know what? i was wondering how good this party was going to be, but i actually think this might end up being the one of the best ones we’ve been to!

*stands beside Kael’thas in an elegant robe of red and gold far more intricate than his usual one. His mask seems to have been designed solely to compliment Kael’thas’; boasting darker feathers of purple and dimed oranges and reds that magically glimmered like fading embers. He smiles at Kael’thas and takes his hand* The night has just begun– with any luck this will be the undisputed best of them all.
