nobody tells you this bc it’s stupid but the best thing to do while on your period is play the sims 4 on a laptop in bed. not only is the sims 4 more fun when you’re emotionally disregulated but the processing power required for the worlds least optimized & shittiest video game of all time will cause your laptop to actively try to kill itself and depending on your position while playing the 3000 degree nuclear meltdown occurring in your lap makes a wonderful natural heating pad. The Amazing Digital Circus really means a lot. I mean, other than the obvious… [gestures], it’s really been cathartic to see a character as defined by human attachment. When we interact with other people and it goes well, we’re on the top of the world, we can’t sleep, it’s the best thing ever, just a shot of pure joy. And the fall is just as dramatic. Knowing that’s something possible, not just… some nebulous crazy, seeing it somewhere else, is just like. A little bit of a lifeline.
