The "New" Beginning...

I just spent a moment reviewing the past few months worth of posts......and Wow! Holy Instagram! It's funny how scrolling through hundreds of photos only to arrive at a few random typed posts have made me realize that I am not using this tumblr as what I had intended it for. It wasn't supposed to be a collection of random thoughts, it was supposed to be a collection of snippets to show my growth and progression in life. And sorry to Instagram, but I don't think those snapshots are a good representation of the journey I had intended on taking a year ago....

Today marks a "new" new start, the real beginning. I am sure I will still insert a random IG pic in here now and again, because I do post some things that really do represent me. From now on though, this is a testament to the new start, the real journey, the analysis of it all. 

You are supposed to set goals in life. I don't want to be too lofty here, but this one seems to encompass everything that I wish to achieve. My goal is to live a life in balance. Yes, a life in balance. This means that a lot of things are going to change in my mind, body, spirit, choices, decisions, and in the way I am living my life.

I don't know what a "life in balance" looks like, but I know that it doesn't look like what I have now. Is it going to go smoothly? No. Is it going to be easy? No. Is every post going to be positive? No. But isn't that how you change? if it were that easy, it wouldn't be a journey. 

I hope you'll continue along with me. I hope you'll have things to offer. I hope you'll know people like me and bring them here so we can all do this together. 

Let's get this started.....
