I am gonna allow myself to be grumpy about this for a minute, so, like, honestly imo they went with Solo because this way they get to make Han's death more ~tragic~! and never mind the various meaningful reasons (hello, Leia and Alderaan? Leia's feelings about her parents?) why Organa would have made more sense overall, especially with the ways they're emphasizing that in the rest of the EU. I knew this was likely but I'm still annoyed!!! I'm gonna sit here and feel disappointed because Ben being Alderaanian is a big fucking deal, or it should be! ok I'm done
