@grooveshit
It’s not for white women and it’s for damn sure not for WHITE SUPREMACISTS!!
Period
And Say His Name should have never happened either
What do you suppose folks use for black male police brutality/hate crime victims? I’ve only ever seen SayHisName so idk what we should say?
Say her name was created first and in response to the news outlets rarely releasing names of black female victims of police brutality as well as the black community not giving female victims the same energy that are given to males.
In other words there is no need for say his name because everyone will have it and the community will mobilize for his justice with little galvanization.
Black Lives Matter has been for mostly men since it became a thing. How they missed it? 🥴
They didn’t miss it,they wanted to pull focus.
SAY IT LOUDER FOR ALL THE BITCHES IN THE BACK SIS!
It’s NOT for non-black women & SayHisName is redundant.
No black man should be hashtagging sayhisname … its disrespectful and socially blind to the fact that black women created that tag because #blacklivesmatter use had gotten increasingly centered on hate crimes against black men.
If you care about black women, you should be open to their account of current events… doing anything less is essentially trying to silence or erase their account of navigating a world that’s always positioned against them.

Reminder Ben and Jerry’s have always been pretty decent.
“Ben & Jerry’s used to have a policy that no employee’s rate of pay shall exceed five times that of entry-level employees; in 1995, entry-level employees were paid $12 hourly, and the highest paid employee (president and COO) earned $150,000 annually”
They endored Bernie in 2016, and again this time (and once released a limited time flavor in part to oppose Trump). The cofounders were also both arrested at the Democracy Awakening protests in 2016 and supported the WWF’s “Fight for the Reef” campaign.
a lil addition
In light of recent news of the disappearance and murder of 19 year old Oluwatoyin ‘Toyin’ Salau Found Dead.
Can folks please share and help us locate Breyah Pruden from Newark, NJ? She’s been missing since June 10th!!
This is proof right here they don’t want us to have shit
His smile 🥺❤

Facebook post by Robert Hartwell on 24 June 2020. Caption reads:
3 weeks ago I found this house online. I said “this is my house”. I called the seller and was told it was a cash only offer and that “I’m sure that takes you off the table”. Don’t you ever underestimate a hard working black man. I saw the house last week and when I walked in I knew I was home. The house was built in 1820 for the Russell family who owned the cotton mill in town. Slavery was still legal. When the agent asked me why I wanted such a large house I said it was “a generational move”. I know this house is bigger than me. I wish I could’ve told my ancestors when they were breaking their back in 1820 to build this house that 200 years later a free gay black man was going to own it and fill it with love and find a way to say their name even when 200 years later they still thought I would be “off the table”. We are building our own tables. I’ve never been prouder to be a black man. Come to my White House any time. I can’t wait to have you! Glory to God in the highest. I’m a homeowner.
Image: Robert, smiling, standing on the lawn in front of his new two-story house. The house is white with two chimneys and a red door.

A viiiiiiiibe! 😃🔥❤️
“I’m speaking to you from my heart. Look, I don’t know if I’m going to have a career after this, but fuck that. Today is about innocent people who were halfway through their process, we don’t know what George Floyd could have achieved, we don’t know what Sandra Bland could have achieved, but today we’re going to make sure that won’t be an alien thought to our young ones. Every black person in here remembered when another person reminded you that you were black. So none of you out there, all those protesters on the other side, protesting against what we want to do, protesting against what we want to try and achieve, burn you, this is so vital. I need you to understand how painful this shit is. I need you to understand how painful it is to be reminded every day that your race means nothing and that isn’t the case anymore, that was never the case anymore.” John Boyega at The Black Lives Matter protest in Hyde Park June 3rd 2020
