this isn’t a ben post but i literally had like an out of body experience very mature realisation about a time in my life last year and more specifically who i was surrounding myself with and i want to share it bc this is my page and not yours 😍

basically came to the realisation that the friends i had last year and subsequently had a bad falling out with did supply me with some of the best memories of the year and possibly my life, in the moment when you have a falling out the ‘hate’ word comes out a lot, you hate them, you wish you never met them, you hate yourself for getting close with them, but months or even years later you can come to realise that you don’t hate them.

maturing is hoping that your old friends are happy and healthy, they have good relationships with the people they chose to keep in their lives, just as you have done, personally, i don’t want to hold grudges, and i do hope that people who are no longer in my everyday life are happy and healthy and loved and they are doing the things that make them happy and have things lined up for them in the near future, and though they may not feel the same about me, i hope they all found happiness whether or not i was in their lives, and i’ll stay thankful for the happy memories supplied by these people even if they want nothing to do with me.
