This is amazing.
Takes cruise ship waste, super-heats it with a plasma arc in an oxygen-low environment. This breaks the molecules apart into smaller molecules that recombine as syngas (a fuel like natural gas) and vitrified slag (an inert glassy rock substance). The system powers itself with its own syngas production, and greatly reduces airborne pollutants compared to a similar incinerator.
