Jaehaerys I: Graceful, as chivalrous as he was courageous, wise beyond his years and looks every inch a king. Always sought the most peaceable ends. In times of trouble, instead of brooding on the issues, Jaehaerys would shrug off his sorrows and plunge himself into his work.By the time he was fourteen years old, Jaehaerys was already skilled with lance and longbow. Even when ruling, he spent every morning until midday in the castle yard training with sword, shield and any other weapon. As Jaehaerys's eldest brother had been killed in battle, Jaehaerys became the eldest living son of the late King.
Alysanne: She was small of breast, with a long neck, a fair complexion, a high forehead, and high cheekbones with blue eyes and thick honey colored hair. She was courteous and biddable, and had a sweet smile and a pleasing voice. Alysanne was a proud girl at the age of thirteen. She was considered to be gentle, kind and loving. She loved her women's courts, where she listened to and learned from the women of the realm. She loved music, dancing, reading. Despite her youth, Alysanne won those around her over with her grace, to protect her and remain loyal. Even at Winterfell, Alysanne was received coldly at first by Lord Alaric Stark, but her charm and wit eventually won him over.
(This doesn’t sound like anyone we know does it? Definitely not like two characters with very similar sounding bastard pseudonyms like Jon and Alayne.)
Jaehaerys & Alysanne: Alysanne is betrothed (to a Baratheon). She tells her older brother Jaehaerys who immediately travels with her to their ancestral home they fled as children and marries her in secret, to prevent her being married to another. Jaehaerys refuses to consummate the marriage however (he thinks Alysanne is too young) and does not inform the realm of his marriage. It did not stay secret though, as his love for Alysanne was apparent and whispers spread.
During their time ruling in their home, Jaehaerys and Alysanne were seldom apart from each other. Those lords and council members who came to Dragonstone for a consult with their king would be received by their king with his queen beside him. Together they ruled wisely and were beloved by their people.
For those wondering how season 6’s events may play out in the books, look to the past. Theory: Alayne, a girl in grey fleeing her betrothal, will seek out Jon. Jon, as Robb’s heir to North in his will, and Alayne, daughter of the Lord Protector of the Vale, will bring together the might of both, and lead to him ruling as King in the North with her by his side, giving him counsel.
Bonus: After the death of his brother Rickon, Jonnel Stark (nicknamed One-Eyed after an attack on his eye) marries his relative Sansa Stark.
