Hiii you can call me almond if you like names, while I reblog a lot of art on this blog, I eat meta posts and analysis constantly (have even written some of my own!! âïž) and generally have a ton of thoughts about gender, power dynamics, authoritarianism, and societal structure due to current living situation. I have a perchant for more 18+ media and read manga, webcomics, and novels, so Yugioh is more of an super special exception where I just dove into it out of sheer enthusism and suddenly ended up making a whole account. So here I am!

^^ most of my interest is on the toei anime and I've read most of the yugioh franchise mangas!
To tell the truth without deflecting or trying to hide or dodge it. I've been really ego-centric these months, not only have I been overtly wallowing in self-pity and involving others without doing anything to address my own issues.
It's also very self-serving of me to not value others only closest to me, but other people in general and in fact I've have a history of it, where I've been downright overtly hostile and cruel when I should try to approach others with kindness. I have not been treating others as well as they've treated me. And I haven't been understanding of others, to the point of conceit.
It's taken me this long to notice it after so long and my recent actions have been incredibly hypocritical. I still have a long way to go as a human being and haven't been venturing outside of my comfort zone to develop, needing prompting from others. I don't want to constantly push my feelings and actions onto other people this way any longer.
No action or intent of savior-complex I've been getting up to should serve as justification for my own self. Because it is completely self-centered, belitting, and downright cruel of me to continue to cower in this way. I am disgusted at myself for this and how disconnected I truly am. And I definitely will be looking inwards over at least trying to resolve my own personal issues instead of being overtly dependant and using depression and learned helpnesses or any unchecked fear, I have be a shield or wall.
I'm not quite sure what to say. As some of you may know, we had to close Lina's last campaign prematurely because donations were so slow (well under one a day), and she needed the money urgently.
Since then, the situation in Gaza has only gotten more dire.
Edit: I've just learned that Lina's youngest, Sidra, was injured when a house near them exploded and the glass shattered. đ Please help them!
I won't make this too long, as I don't expect it to reach many new people. For those of you who are new, Lina (@linoomk) is a kind young woman from Gaza who I've been helping fundraise for a while now. She has a husband and two adorable and very young children to look after.
â Find her original vetting here.

Please, if you have anything to spare, consider donating a few bucks to Lina via PayPal:

I have just one question:Where are you?Where have you gone, people?I need just one answer.Today, I saw a small child, no older than a year, with an amputated leg.Yes⊠an amputated leg.I felt sorrow for him, but the first thought that struck me was:How does his mother feel? How can a mother bear to see her beloved child like this? And his only fault? That he was born in Gaza.
I write a lot because Iâm afraidâŠAfraid that the phrase âThe world forgot Gaza, and it died in silenceâ will take over me.So, I keep writing to you seeking a glimpse of hope, of light, of support.Do you know why?Because I am like a drowning person clinging to a straw. And that straw⊠is you. You, with your support, your sincere love, your humanity.
Please help a pregnant mother one who waited years to be blessed with a child.Help her⊠for you are the hope. Or paypal
A palestinian American boy was shot by the IOF and no one even cares in the US. not like I didn't know that Palestinians will always be treated as if they're invisible in US politics but it really puts in perspective how Palestinian Americans are treated vs how israeli Americans. No one will shut up about the American guy who hamas has but us Palestinians dying as children is just whatever.
Gazaâs blood stains not only the hands of Israel, the U.S., and the West â but also those of 2 billion Muslims who remain silent witnesses.
On March 7, 2025, Newsweek reported that Saudi Arabia plans to invest $1.3 trillion with the U.S. âThere is no one else in the world now who could compete for Trumpâs attention as MBS does,â said Fawaz Gerges, professor of international relations at the London School of Economics in an interview with Newsweek.Â
Not to be outdone, Reuters reported on March 21, 2025, that the UAE has agreed to invest $1.4 trillion in the U.S. economy following a meeting with Trump at the White House.
According to Global Firepower, Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, and Egypt all rank among the top 20 global militaries. Saudi Arabia is at 24 and has the largest military budget among Muslim countries, at $55.6 billion. Dozens of Muslim countries have considerable military and economic capacity.
Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia even helped intercept missiles from Iran â bolstering Israeli security while Gaza crumbles.Â
This is not mere cowardice. It is betrayal. Meanwhile, blood is literally flowing through the streets of Gaza in yet the latest massacre.
Religious fundamentalists are never your friend. Centralized religious institutions and especially theocratic states were made that way as a mean of consolidation of power exactly the same way as what you might consider a capitalist institution, because they are one. Whatever culture/skin color/ethnicity/identity/race you think you shared with those with power over people like you is irrelevant, as capitalists always have more in common with each other than with you. Every corner of this planet is dominated by capitalism and its derivatives, and every figurehead/state/centralized power is a threat.
And this is gonna sound harsh, but they only feel like your supporter/ this only feels like a betrayal, because you haven't paid attention to the people they have been exploited/marginalized/killed, and how much those people resemble you. The likes of Egypt and UAE, Saudi, Turkey government have had a very well documented history of exploiting its own population in brutal and violent fashion and Saudi Arabia essentially made its migrant workers into slaves while gleefully invited white colonists for decades. The "millitary might" they obtained was from brutal exploitation and participation in the international capitalist machine. The writing has always been on the wall. There is no way these greedy EVIL monsters will protect Palestinians instead of using it as an excuse for even more war crimes (Turkey's genocide of Kurds,...).
I apologize because this isn't my lane but it's hard to see how anyone could place their trust on these vile fiends at all.
We donât really trust them is what I like to think.
I think the only ones still siding with these people are neo-traditionalists (like Salafis) and ultraliberals. I also believe Muslims in general avoided rocking the boat because they didnât want to risk losing their Hajj quotas something that has historically happened to Muslim-majority countries that dared to challenge the Saudis along with the financial incentives that come with tolerating these military superpowers.
After all, the Saudis were famously known for funding religious associations and mosques worldwide.
But this is still an indictment of how submissive Muslims worldwide have become. And what Iâve said here isnât meant to excuse us.
My name is Acey. I'm a trans individual living in Miami and I'm trying⊠Ana Cedeno needs your support for Help A Trans Person In Miami Secur
So I've been trying really hard not to make this post but I've found myself in a really bad situation.
As you all know I recently moved out of my mom's for what I'm hoping is permanent. The original plan was to move to MIami with my qpp and platonic polycule and use the time I had with them to find a job in my field in Miami or at least one that would make living here sustainably.Â
This ended up not working out. Iâm not gonna go into details but the bare bones of it is this: I had to safety plan my way around my ( now ex) qppâs fiancee and at one point got on an uber and left the apartment because things escalated to a point where I no longer felt emotionally safe around her. She then talked to the leasing office and I was moved without any warning and against my will.Â
Iâm now in a new apartment with a new roommate who doesnât drive me to tears for forgetting things but needless to say my relationships and plans for the future are more or less in free fall right now.Â
Moving with my mom or dadâs isnât an option as the last time I stayed at my momâs I was constantly on a hotline so Iâm trying to crowdfund for a car. Miami is incredibly high in rent and itâs taken two jobs to barely make ends meet. Itâs come to the point where a car isnât just for transportation but for survival.Â
If I manage to stay here, which is unlikely, a car will mean more job opportunities as Iâm really limited in finding jobs right now. Itâll help me not sink too much money on Ubers which will make it easier to pay rent and also doctors appointment ( as I'm epileptic)
If the worst happens and I have nowhere to go a car will mean shelter for me and Indi ( she has to come with me wherever I go and a lot of places I could bunk at might not be dog friendly) even if I find somewhere to go if I canât renew my lease a car would be the only way to get me and Indi there since she isn't allowed on public transit and Ubers Have turned me away because of her.
Even if I end up bunking at my momâs ( tho I refuse to go there for longer than a week) having a car would greatly reduce me relapsing into unhealthy coping since Iâll have a way to leave the house when my brain gets bad.Â
All options lead to the fact that I need a car for survival. I talked to some friends and we figured out for a used car that I would at least want to have 10 thousand. Thereâs also driving lessons which at the cheapest will still run me over 200 and the license will be 50 but I could swing that. The car is the main thing I need help with.
My parents are bothâŠonly sometimes supportive ( the last time I talked to my dad about living with him he said âWeâd both hate each other and itâd be your faultâ not only that but theyâre both disabled and in their 60s so they arenât an option even when they want to be. My siblings are also striking out on their own and donât have anything to spare and thatâs all the family I have in the states so itâs gotten to the point where Iâve had to make this post even tho Iâve really tried not to. Â
If youâre in strife yourself please donât donate but reblogs help.Â
I'd like to draw attention to a couple of stories where immigrants were detained by ICE--a mother and her 3 children in New York and a couple who owned a kebab shop in New Jersey--but in both cases, they were released after outrage from their respective communities. The superintendent of the children's school was "leading efforts to ensure the family's release" in the NY case, and Haddon Township residents donated over $300,000 to the NJ couple's GoFundMe for their legal fees.
This is why it matters for communities to support its members and speak out against injustice. This administration will not do everything it wants as long as people keep fighting back.
I also reblog this to remind people that ICE doesn't doesn't actually care about documentation status. Even in a world where being an undocumented immigrant was bad (It's not; everyone's welcome; fuck you if you say otherwise), ICE's refusal to follow due process and constant attempts to violate laws they are obligated to follow but try to skirt around by exploiting people's unawareness, or even just blatantly violate so that those rights must be fought for in court, means that if an ICE officer THINKS you could POSSIBLY BE affiliated with undocumented immigration, it is within their power to force you into a prison, not tell anyone where you are, deny you bail or representation, and it becomes your responsibility to prove using the legal system that they denied you those rights so substantially that it can't be considered an "honest mistake," --- because that's how they work.
They arrest first, ask questions later, and it's up to the people whose lives are horrible disrupted to speak up for themselves and assert their rights...
...unless you stand up against ICE on behalf of your neighbors. Unless you film every possible ICE interaction aggressively. Upload it to https://tinyurl.com/peopleoverpapers to disseminate info about ICE activity.
Unless you hand out red cards and hand them out at your local ethnic groceries, and make sure they get into the hands of the elderly and those who speak English poorly -- https://www.ilrc.org/red-cards-tarjetas-rojas#item-4477
Even if you're someone who believes so profoundly in the rule of law that you believe ICE is doing a good thing when it apprehends an undocumented immigrant, you are still morally obligated to stand up against ICE, because quite simply, they do not play by the rules. They don't care if someone is a citizen, a documented/approved/visa'd immigrant. They just care if somebody fits the profile, and will ruin that person's life through severe disruption-- if they think somebody fits the profile, they can and will arrest them and throw them in a hole, and sort out the legality of it later.
You HAVE to stand up against ICE. If nothing else, demand that they follow the law to the T and make sure people know their rights.
Record them so that if they break the law and violate rights, there is proof of it.

My name is Naser, and war has taken everything from meâmy mother, my sister, my home, and the life I once knew. In an instant, my world was shattered, leaving behind nothing but memories and the weight of loss.
But even in the darkest moments, I refuse to give up. Because amidst the pain, I still have something worth fighting forâmy three younger brothers.
đč One dreams of becoming a doctor, to heal others so they donât have to endure the pain weâve faced.
đč Another aspires to be an engineer, hoping to one day rebuild what war has destroyed.
đč And the youngest? He doesnât have big dreams yetâhe just wants to be a kid again, to wake up in a home that feels safe, to play without fear.
đĄ We Need a Home. We Need Education. We Need Hope.
Right now, we are not just fighting for survivalâwe are fighting for the chance to live, to grow, to dream again. We are fighting for a future where my brothers can become the doctor, the engineer, the child who gets to have a childhood.
đ This is where you come in.
Iâm not asking for muchâjust a chance. A chance to rebuild, to give my brothers a future beyond war.
Your support, whether through a donation or simply sharing our story, can make all the difference. Even the smallest act of kindness can create ripples of change.

You Can Help Hammad Save His FamilyđâŒïžđ«¶đ»
Campaign organizer notes at the bottom.
VETTED BY ASSOCIATION; Hammad was referred to me through Safaa and her campaign (vetted by 90-ghost)
This campaign is created on behalf of a very valuable and dear friend of mine, Hammad A., who is dealing with devastating tragedy and loss that none of us in the empirical core could possibly begin to imagine.
Hammad is one of the most thoughtful, considerate, and hard-working people I know -- and while he has tried his best to provide for his family under these immensely difficult circumstances, he now needs our help to keep him and his family alive.
Picture this: Your life has been turned upside down instantly; everything you have worked your whole life for -- gone in an instant. Everything you once knew turned to rubble and destruction. Your home, where you grew up and created childhood memories with -- gone. Your job, where you dedicated your energy and effort into building a career you loved -- gone. The most basic necessities we take for granted -- warmth, fresh air, the ability to move around freely and safely -- ripped away from you.
These are only a few of the difficulties that Hammad and his family have been facing for over 464 days.Â
As you understand by now, there is only so much resilience the human body can endure, and the urgent need to do anything you can to save your family is the exact reason Hammad has allowed us the opportunity to help him and his family be freed from the immense suffering and stress they currently face.
His tent was recently flooded, damaging the little items that he had after losing everything, and destroying the little shelter he and his family had to protect them against the harsh elements.
Hammad needs your help NOW.
Even the smallest amount is so highly valuable in lifting a margin of stress from the weight of this tragedy off the shoulders of Hammad and his family. Your contributions to these lifesaving funds are invaluable.Â
Chuffed has a waiting period for processing and transferring funds. If you want your donation to IMMEDIATELY be sent to Hammad, paypal is linked below.
Go to paypal.me/esakach and type in the amount. Since itâs PayPal, it's easy and secure. Donât have a PayPal account? No worries.
âLemme tell ya, âStar Warsâ always had the vibe of being in the most whitest, elite space. Itâs a franchise thatâs so white that a Black person existing in [it] was something,â Boyega said in the documentary. âYou can always tell itâs something when some âStar Warsâ fans try to say, âWell, we had Lando Calrissian and had Samuel L. Jackson!â Itâs like telling me how many cookie chips are in the cookie dough. Itâs like, they just scattered that in there, bro!â
it really is crazy how hearing the word "aphobia" makes the compassion just immediately drain out of people like a plug got pulled in the soles of their feet. ace people can talk about our experiences with ostracisation and medicalisation and corrective rape and abusive relationships and assault and conversion therapy and familial rejection and societal pressure and self-hatred and loneliness and erasure and lack of representation, and everyone agrees that those things are bad. but the second the word "aphobia" is mentioned people are instantly just falling over themselves in their desperation to Commit To The Bit
this website is so funny because every couple years we repeat the discourse of "which marginalised group is it morally okay for us to shit on?" and somehow nobody ever learns from it. we just look back and go, "hey, remember that time when everyone was joking about how ace people should all be put in meat grinders? that was so messed up. we should not have done that. anyway, here's my topical joke about how polyamorous people should all be put in meat grinders."
my friend tarek has been doing some amazing community organizing in palestine â heâs been teaching classes for children with my other friend farah AND distributing water and providing iftar meals during ramadan throughout rafah! his brother just had a major orthopedic surgery he had to wait about a year for and since food and water is incredibly scarce he canât properly recover. please donate to their efforts!!!
quick reminder: tarek isnât just a word on your screen, he is my friend.
heâs 21, the same age as me. before the war he was studying to be a translator and he dreamt of voice acting, just like so many of you reading this. (heâs pretty good too actually.) he would probably not call himself a poet but every few days he posts something so beautifully worded that he might as well be a poet laureate. he recently wrote: âgaza is sick of being praised by anyone. gaza is tired that its image is on satellite tv. gaza is sick of its name in the sad poems. gaza is tired of the repeated endings.â the message is clear â sentiments are not enough, his people need HELP.
every day i tell him im doing everything i can. and itâs true, i am, but its barely anything, as iâm disabled and bedridden. iâve kept that fact from him out of shame because i see what he has to endure each day, but i feel SO POWERLESS. every time an announcement breaks that more bombs have dropped in the night or more innocent people were gunned down in broad daylight, my heart sinks with terror and i wonder if iâve lost my friend. it really would mean so much â not just to him, to me â if you could donate anything you can spare to tarek and his family. he deserves the whole world and more.
yesterday tarek almost got on a water distribution truck that was targeted with bombs. the day before his neighbors had their house bombed (during Eid) and that whole family died. please help my friend
