Thank you for this. It's not always a matter of being a jerk or anything. Sometimes it's literally I can't draw for shit and no, "practice until you get good" is not an option for everyone. I'm literally 33. If you think I haven't tried, you're deluding yourself. My craft is writing. Not drawing or digital art or any of that. And it is physically painful to be told over and over that I just need to try harder when every time I sit down and try to create this wonderful character in my head ends in tears. Commissioning an artist is also not always a possibility. Especially during the time I was still in college and every spare dime I had went to food and caffeine. I'm not trying to be dismissive. I just wish more people understood. So anyway. Thanks for sharing those programs and I hope I can use them and get some kind of peace about this whole thing.
